1 Bc6+ (if king moves to e file at any point, Re4+, Rxe3, and Rxe2 or e1) 1…Kd8 2 Rf8+ Ke7 3 Re8+, wins both pawns If 1…Kd6 2 Rd4+ Ke5, 6, or 7 3 Re4+ wins both pawns. A pretty puzzle, with a nice solution that is a bit counter intuitive

I was very near, did not see Bb5 but I "knew" that there must be a winning move at that point!😊

Knew Bf5 was move #1, and followed by Rd4+. Sadly, I fell for the stalemate trap(s)! 😢 And threw up my hands …

I did solve this, but it took me awhile.

Not Reti but Rinck. Reti was 8,3k4,1K6,4R3,4B3,4p3,4p3,8 but there was a defect.

Bc5+ if black king moves to any rank in the e file then Re4+!! and white eliminates all the pawns and wins. Followed by Rxe3 and Rxe1 or Rxe2. If black moves kd6 then Rd4+ still and black is forced to move the king to any rank in the e file the same pawns fall. If the king moves to kd8 then Re4 and checkmate follows with Re8#. If black moves kc8 then Rf8# 😮😅

This is the line that appears to be right but you are missing a crucial fact which means this line is actually only a draw. The video explains why.

Was your first move supposed to be Bc6+, not Bc5+? White has a white square Bishop. What you are suggesting would be a stalemate as soon as white captures both pieces on the e file. The first move must be white to Bf5+ to get a win instead of a draw.
