I've been eyeing Boox because page turning buttons are actually the most important feature of an e-reader to me, and I didn't realize it until after I got the Kindle Paperwhite. Does anyone else feel inconvenienced by having to tap the screen to turn a page 😂 I like to get comfortable (lying down, etc) when I'm reading and I don't want to think about reaching for the screen and tapping in the right spot. I'm always accidentally turning the pages when I mean to do something else hahaha

I also LOVE the page turning buttons! This style (similar to the oasis) is also my fave haha but I think we might be niche for this lol

I own the Kindle Scribe (with the pencil) and paperwhite and I have the same problem. But I bought both devices in 2023 and will live inconvenience for the foreseeable future. I still enjoy the big screen on the Kindle Scribe but when I am traveling I use Paperwhite

There is a thing on Amazon where you can put a clip on the kindle or any other e reader and you use a remote to turn pages, it’s sold with it.

Very nice and lively review

You should review the Bigme B751C. I have it, and it seems very similar to this Boox, but it comes with the stylus and you can annotate in color. I’m interested in how it stacks up against the Kobo Libra color, but very few KZreadrs have done reviews on it. I love it so far, but it’s on the heavier side for an e-reader, and some of the apps can be a bit glitchy. I also wish the library was more aesthetic, but you win some you lose some.

How long does the battery last you compared to the others

If you have the Go7 and Palma, will they sync with each other so when you read on one tablet it updates it on the other?

Is it usable or still readable even with the front lights fully turned off?

I appreciate the thoroughness of your review. I’ve been using a kindle paper white and while I love the reading experience, I resent being trapped in the Amazon ecosystem. Thanks

You can’t eliminate them entirely but if you turn on the regal setting, and then change the refresh to after every page turn it’s sooo much better!

Okay for reading this one because 1) MUCH lighter and 2) less expensive - but you really can only read on it no pen support so if you want to take notes at all you’d have to go with the tab mini c 💗

TBH this one mostly because when I'm home I like a larger screen - totally personal preference on the size though, I know a ton of people who prefer the smaller size!

Pros and cons depending on what your preferences are! If you want to annotate you can only do it on the kobo libra, if you don’t want to use just one reading app you can only do that on the boox!

I regret buying the boox tab mini-c. I find it heavy and laggy when swiping. I bought it because I wanted a coloured e-reader but I ended up buying a kindle paperwhite and I’ve been using my kindle to read ebooks..
