To those who criticize the translation: Japanese is so different from English not only grammatically, but conceptually, that an accurate, literal translation is nearly impossible, let alone one that matches a songs rhythm AND happens to rhythm. They did well...really well. They were forced to choose a limited interpretation only because of the inequivalency of the languages. I don't speak Japanese (yet). Am I wrong?

Is it just me who can't get this song out of my head
i really really love this cover. my best friend of 12 years passed away in late 2015. we had even been planning to watch anohana together. she was much older than menma when she passed aaay and our story is nothing like the plot of anohana but these lyrics really resonate with me. so many lines remind me of things we did growing up together. this song is so bittersweet and always makes me cry but i love to listen to it because it resonates so much with me and is such a lovely song in general. ♡
"it's funny how we built these castles to ruin them once again" this line really hits the spot
Just finished this anime today... best choice i've made in my entire life... ;^;
