***** I think the reason why she kept denying it was because she was frustrated at how the media blew it out of proportions. It seemed like every article and or news piece made it seem as if she almost died, at least according to her. As she said, it went to the point where it even got her parents really worried over almost nothing, so I get where she's coming from.

Merchant Ivory cute but sometimes it’s smarter to think first. Had her husband jumped after her right away, he would’ve been caught in the rip too, and that wouldn’t have helped. So keep up tryna be a hero but be a smart one ;)

When you watch an Anne Hathaway interview and you don't know how old it is because you can't tell by her face because *SHE JUST DOESN'T AGE*

she is gorgeous and an extremly talented actress, always seemed so down to earth and intelligent.

if u get caught in a rip, dont swim against the current, try swim sideways or diagonally, and conserve energy, dont panic~

adorable that she points out that that hotness is hers lol

Based on how she talks about her husband and her mom (and the rest of her family), she is so lucky to have such loving, smart people around her. And she deserves to have such people.

I really enjoyed this interview. She's funny and charming.

If people hate her, I don't know why. She seems pretty down to earth to me. Great interview.

She's still that adorable, spirited girl from Princess Diaries. Love her.

I know it's Jeniffer Lawrence's world and Anne is just living in it, but I just can't understand why Ms Hathaway has so much hate spat at her. I actually think she's one of the few TRULY talented young performers out there.

Jennifer Lawrence gets her share of hate spat at her these days. Audiences love to turn on actresses. They're both still doing great, and being themselves :)

I'm really happy she didn't drown. It could've been worse but thankfully it wasn't. But all it takes is one twist of fate to change things but clearly Anne had things under control and I'm happy she's ok.

On an interview with Ellen, Ellen was the first to bring up the fact that Anne Hathaway was constantly given negative publicity, but it was obvious that Hathaway had wanted to talk about it before. ***** The "fearless" part of my name is a reference to Taylor Swift, and I have never considered myself or anyone to be fearless. I never said that Hathaway was "weak-minded", she is 100x stronger than any of her haters, and I have never ever understood why people hate her at all. And yeah, you're right, anonymity does make people feel like they can say whatever they want because they think they can get away with it. I can guarantee that if those haters were put in front of Hathaway, they wouldn't have any confidence at all to say what they really thought

askadeq90 Completely different hosts... they have a different sense of personalities and humor. Fallon is more of a family man, his humor is for all ages... that doesn't go for Kimmel who can be a lot more harsh. Also Fallon is more creative musically, he did some awesome impressions and his evolution/history of bits are kinda unique in late show world. But Kimmel is a master in making prank videos and stuff... it is very hard to deliberately make a viral video and he did it more than once! But Fallon doesn't like when he's the center of a joke... Kimmel loves it. See... Completely different!
