She wasn’t normal in the beginning with Andy
I think that's why Ann and Leslie work so well together as friends. Ann is the normal one who gets excited at times when you expect whereas Leslie is so energetic about everything because she loves everything she does. It's a perfect contrast.

Leslie had the best and the worst of high energy. Ann keeps her grounded and balanced. Plus since ben is a bit of a push over he gets dragged into her things too. It’s sweet but can be irresponsible.

@@BlackDiamond2718 Hahahaha that reminds me of the time when Ann said "Never send a husband to do a best friend's job" or something like that. Ann was the responsible big sister taking care of everybody. She let them roam free as long as they were safe, but if they did dangerous things or very immoral things she was there to scold them and help them.

I love that this is a collection of clips of Ann at her weirdest, and the title is still accurate.
Ann and Leslie’s relationship was good as they supported each other 100% and they don’t mind calling each other other out when needed it’s positive to see a relationship/friendship where they’re not backstabbing and being cruel. If even seen people say the reason why Leslie was a bit all over the place in season 1 but then was hyper competent from season 2 onwards as she’d lost her friend Lindsay who betrayed her telling her no to take the Eagleton job to then go after it when Leslie turned them down, and having the support of Ann she was happy to be herself again.
@islembb8899

In season one, we saw her through the eyes of Mark, who thought she was a loser. In season two and onwards, we see her through the eyes of Ann, who thinks she's amazing. That's why Leslie's character seems to change so much
@willgroody5296
9 ай бұрын
@@islembb8899 I always though maybe Lindsay’s betrayal shook her confidence in herself if she couldn’t trust her own judgement on best friend she couldn’t trust her judgments in anything, then having Ann bolstering her especially when she stood up and bolstered her when Lindsay resurfaced. Saying Lindsay was trying to wind her up because she’s never been able to get over the fact she only got the Eagleton job as Leslie wouldn’t take it.

Chris helping her while she’s drunk is so cute.
Rashida is the best person to cast for: What if you put a rational person into an INSANE group
They missed a couple: Ann drunk as a skunk on Snake juice. Anns reaction to Ron saying goodbye when she was leaving Pawnee.
Ann's miscommunications with Chris probably continued throughout their life together raising three kids. That must have been fun.
@theeleanorshellstrop

hopefully they’ve improved on that in the interim
They should’ve finished that last one. “What if he thinks I’m asking too much of him?” “Then plant the damn ficuses yourself.” “Oh, I WISH that were possible!” And then her asking Chris about the baby. Rashida Jones nails the role as a beautifully awkward woman.
Whenever I see The Office in clip-sized or compilation format I think to myself: "Hey, that's kind of how this show is at its best." But when I see clips or comps from Parks & Rec I *always* feel the urge to rewatch the whole show for all the context and content. I love it *that* much 😃Guess my third rewatch is coming up, haha!
This clip reminds me how much I continue to love P&R. What more can be said.
