Very thorough, I am going to buy this item because of how you tested the ports and explaining everything about the product. I have bought power banks in the past and the problems I had are exactly what you tested as in passthrough charging and charging more then 1 device at a time. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for your review. You mention using it to power your camera/gimbal etc. Do you mean actively power these devices and if so, can you share how you mount it to the camera? I'm debating between this power bank vs Smallrig VB99 V_mount battery. I've just read that the VB99.

For Ronin 3 Pro, no mounting just using 2 meter long USB-C cable velcro at the handheld, cable hanging from gimbal to a belt/pouch system. VB99 is great for smaller rigs, but with FX3 + 24mm G master + wireless HDMI + Wireless Sennheiser Mic..... will get heavy.

Hi, very informative video :) ...however i am not into wattage and voltage stuff, can i use USB-C / USB-A to charge and power up my sony FX30 along with Atomos ninja and is there any danger/precautions should i consider? many thanks to your time and efforts.

It will charge the internal battery as it’s power on as well. Using using on FX6 and FX3 as extra power juice.

How the passthrough work. I am using the Apple 140W with the apple cable, it able to charger my macbook. I got 86.1w input charging. Then I put in my phone, the C1 drop input to 19.2w and C2 outpout 18.8w. Then I did the other test, I plug in usb A, the C1 change to input 34.3w, C2 output 19.0w and A output 14.2w. Is the input almost same as total output? And why my charger cannot get almost 140w input from Apple 140w charger?

The charger smartly controls power distribution, it defect potential heating issues or random spike thus charges at lower wattage lower the spikes.

Thank you for exhaustive review. I bought this powerbank recently. Please, which port to use to charge Go Pro camera battery? The same as for smartphone?🤷‍♂️

Anyone wanting to know. I use this with a Pinecil for a fully portable soldering kit. Works perfectly. Very cool to be on a ladder, have this battery in your coat pocket and an iron that heats up in around 10 sec. Highly recommend.

Prefect answer is no, indirect answer is subjective/yes. Just dont do pass throught charging when battery is super hot or below 50%.

Got the storm 2 and it is a high quality product. However I noticed that Anker just released powerbank 548, which is 60,000 mah . Please review that one too and tell us your opinion

work with any wattage, of course having 140W charging help in charging faster. but daily im just using 65W small charger to charge the anker :)

By two years will have 200w power bank hopefully

My 737 powerbank has had 1 cycle and the battery health has gone to 99% already ?! :( Please can you help or suggest what I can do - is it possible to get the battery back to 100% - I bought it yesterday so I was concerned why it went down to 99 so quickly

Use between 20-90% range if possible to extend its life. Never over charger to 100% or use beyond last 20%

I’ve been using an apple 61wt. I tried an apple 140wt once just to see how fast the charge would be from 0 to 100, it took 45 minutes .

Overprised over complicated power bank. Mine locked up complaining about -40 temperature after a few charges. I believe it's a common problem.
