Its surprising how much the 737 outperforms its 200W successor. Yes they came out with a 250W but the sales going on right now give the 737 a big advantage imo. Thanks for the info

I'd say the 250W Prime powerbank is the true successor to the 737. It, like the 737, features 140W output and input and 21V 5A PPS support, which the other two Prime's don't have. In addition, the 250W Prime also beats the 737 in battery capacity, charging efficiency, and thermal performance.

The charging base makes it worth it for me. It's saved me so many times during power outages. When you have to actually plug the thing in, and use up a c cable, and wall adapter, you're only going to charge it when you expect you need it or it completely dies. The charging base gives it a "home" i put it there every time I'm done using it or cleaning which means I always have 27,000 MAh available to me, which is a life saver during a power outage.

When I am buying powerbanks, the right balance between size and capacity is important. I would not carry anything too bulky. After all these will be carried and not used at home. So apart from the 12K one I find the others overkill. 10K powerbank don't really charge with 65W so I could not even charge my laptop. It's not easy but thanks for the video.

The last one was the storm 2 slim and it is bricked saying that it cant charge because the temperature is too low. Upon checking the internet, there is tons of people with the same issue. It appears to be the thermistor. Shargeek will not exchange it, the most they will do is give you a card for a discount on a new one. That is actually the reason that im here looking at this review, because i need a new powerbank. The shargeek is now a very expensive paper weight.

The 24000mah is measured at the nominal voltage of a single lithium battery cell - 3.7v. The Mac 8600mAh battery quoted is likely to be at around 11.1v, or 3 times 3.7v - so it’s not a fair comparison. What we should be comparing is Wh. The Anker 737 is 86.4Wh. The Mac would be 95.46Wh (11.1v x 8.6A). So there is not enough capacity in the 737 to fully charge the Mac even before the inefficiencies are considered. Many tests put the 737 true output at around 72-75Wh after the inefficiencies. A lot less than the 95Wh of the Mac fully charged. So, in summary the 24,000mAh IS a marketing scam, in a way because it’s not a true measure of the energy stored. All power banks should be advertised by Wh

I was just reading up on that reg so I could meet and not exceed it. The watts specified above (130W, 200W, 250W) refer to the max transfer rate across all ports. TSA specifies 100 watt-hours (Wh) capacity as the limit . The largest Anker Prime's 27650mAh capacity is 99.54Wh, so any of these models are good for carry-on luggage. Guessing that's why Anker capped it there.
