Well, this is dope. I have not explored all of Canva and I've made like 300 designs so far so knowing I can mask stuff gives me some ideas for the Niche I design in. This will definitely come in handy and add variety to anyone shop. I love Canva because it's so quick is pumping out scalable designs. I have photoshop and Affinity Designer also. Good video as usual.

Glad it helped! Only "photos" can be used for masking for some reason... these are the graphics that you can't change the colors on.

I would like to know how to design hiking and camping niche that stands out from the rests. The common images I see being used are mountains, trees, camp, and trailers. I also noticed in Etsy, the top sellers contain fonts that are subtle and sometimes too small to read. It's quite contradict to the other selling niches where big fonts are required. Love your videos and thank you!

Two ways... you can have Canva Pro and click remove background..... or you can use Photopea and remove the background

I have Canva Pro but mainly use it for the transparent PNG option. I heard from others that the some of the images available in the Pro version can't be used for POD. Do you know if that's true? Great tutorial Juna. I always learn something new from you!

Thanks for sharing! According to Canva... all content can be sold on POD you just have to make sure you are combining things together... make yours a little different from the original. Add a font, a graphic, etc.

Yes... you will need to knock out the background with another program.... like Pixlr or Preview on a Mac

I don't vectorize before uploading because Amazon wants a PNG... if you want a vector you can download as a PDF or SVG instead of PNG.

If it's an anime from a show or book stay away.... if it's some original you drew or original clipart then you should be okay

I believe you can only mask "photo" artwork.... the artwork on Canva that you can't change the colors too.... they don't necessarily have to look like a photo, just act like a photo.... I hope that makes sense.

If you have Affinity Designer you can download a PDF instead of a PNG... If you have a Mac use the Preview app and delete background... If you have a PC you can use Pixlr.

I can't follow what you do here. How do you make the frame mask the anime graphic? When I drag an image onto a frame it doesn't do anything?

You will need to use the right kind of image... it needs to be a "photo" graphic... not one that you can change the color on.

According to Canva... under What is Allowed?.... Use our content in a Canva design, for personal or commerical use..... Upload costumized Canva designs on Print on Demand (PoD) sites.

So i have a brand like this too, and a customer wants a custom design, he sent me screenshot how do i convert that into a design, coz my printer said screenshots can't be used as the quality of print will degrade too

One mask is to mask out the face and the other mask is for the background color because the original art didn't have a background

You can only do generic video game ideas.... a generic controller and text or a generic headset... you can NOT use any characters from any game... not even from the 80s...NO PAC MAN, NO MARIO, NO POKEMON... None of it..... funny saying do really well though

There is always going to be a background with the free version but you can delete the background for free with preview or other apps.
