    it took me around 11 years to be able to execute the more complicated techniques. Tosin kinda has a technique of his own though. He didn't actually invent it he just changed it to make it better.

    I like the fact that Matt had a solo on this track, not necessarily "new" but often overlooked. Fits well with the rhythmically complex grooves, and his playing is super tight. I wish we could see a lot more of this.

    I love how this band can capture such specific emotions and ideas in their music and truly flesh them out in depth. Like this song, I get this feeling of self-sabotage and trying to overcome it and find peace through the progression of the music.

    I love the sparse moments throughout AAL albums where Tosin writes a simple melody. These parts are always so emotionally charged, I think partly do to the release from the tension of the spastic, chaotic structure of the songs. Like the part at 4:11 is so moving, not many bands can make something so simple come to life like that.

    I kinda wish they released a music video for this song where people headbang perfectly in time with the various rhythms. They'd probably need to spend some time in hospital after the shoot, but I guarantee it would be a cool video.

    MY favorite song on this new album, second is Arithmophobia. All in all, the whole Madness of Many album is amazing. I had to buy the CD so I could jam it in my car (I have an older car with only CD capability), and let me tell you, jamming this album on my cars speakers is a great feeling. I crank up the volume, roll down my windows because I want people to hear how awesome this album is.

    Agreed. This is pretty good, but none of the previewed tracks so far grab me like CAFO and Tooth & Claw. I'm really hoping that they've included some of that style on the new album. Their heavy stuff to this point has been otherworldly. It would be a shame to loose that to a more mellow AAL.

    listening to AAL has been such a cool experience. I think tosin's playing has really grown, you can hear it in his solos. he's learned how to let his music breathe. idk the last two albums are easily my favorite.

    It's almost like the bass and guitar are vocalizing and singing/having a conversation with each other! It really pulls you in, and there's some extremely interesting ideas in this song. Not to mention the drums gluing everything together.

    Arithmophobia dosent quite fit in, but this song and Brain Dance have a very minimalistic feel to them. they focus on one main idea and just groove the fuck out of it, and I like that direction for AAL
