Got to see Animals as Leaders at the Regency Ballroom in San Francisco in 2019. Same happens with me !

I was blessed to had the opportunity to listen to this song live, it was truly a beyond reality experience. Every frequency had vibrated through our bodies, blending everything into one. Tosin was a bit nervous that night, but they did a great show, they are truly amazing beings.

Tosin makes it looks so effortless.

Yo I'm one to live and die for hip-hop. REAL hip-hop from the 90s, underground, jazzy, boom bap, golden era old school. As you can see from my hiero logo to the left...reason I'm saying this is because I'm not one to listen to metal at all and people would never expect a real hip-hop extremist to peep this out but this shit.... is FUCKING AMAZING. I can't even fathom how people are saying this is boring. Do you not see the talent these dudes have? It's off the fucking charts. If they "look bored themselves" it's because they have so much goddamn talent that they can rip their shit something fierce and make it look easy. This is like Van Halen's "Eruption" (the intense and talent that's so crazy sounds like old school mega man music on acid aspect of it) fuckin fused with some Santana. That's wassup brotha stay up. It is rare though for people to appreciate quality music. Sadly our society has dwindled down to listening to pure corporate sell out mainstream garbage such as (insert wack mothafuckas wayne drake minaj etc.) and quite frankly it sickens me to the soul. There needs to be a major change, a revolution where the people change what they're feeding their minds because the media has more control over society than the average thinks. It's more than just music its about the consciousness.

Jay Bernal a lot of ppl still don't know an obvious troll (Thepiratebay) when they see one. They truly are miserable people who thrive on just shitting on other people's passions and interests because they want everyone to be as angry and miserable as they are. They are to be pitied or ignored. Preferably both. Anyway, I have to give you props for being as open minded as you are, it's rare to see that coming from someone primarily involved in a genre like hiphop. It usually is most of the mainstream BS that ruins genres for other people who don't know how to find the good stuff in any form of music. I'm glad to see you can see past that and if I were to meet you in person I'd gladly shake your hand and talk hip hop and rock/metal/blues with you. Props.

Me, discovering something amazing 9 years later...

Just found out about Tosin by watching one of his tutorials. I was very impressed by his skills but after listening to this I have to say that I understand why this music is not more mainstream. Some of the best songs in the world are the simplest of songs, this feels like a person trying to showcase his ample skill set more than someone focused on writing an actual song.

are you fucking kidding me?! yes some of the best songs written of all time are the simplest but part of writing a song is putting your all into it. and if his all makes many others look like shit or are to complex rhythmically, or unappealing to certain folks then so be it. its a song he wrote from within and had the ability to make it audible and that is something many other "artists" cant.

3 years hearing this song, and never get bored, the tempos are incredibles!

I saw these guys live once. I don't know what happened but I remember leaving that show a changed man, and this was years ago at this point.

I haven't been blown away like this in a long time..
