I cannot stress enough how much I miss Shopking. As someone who grew up fatherless, seeing him interacting wholesomely with his child playing animal jam with her was the sweetest thing.

i still have one of shopking's accounts as my buddy and despite the fact that he was cringy he was being there for his kid which i think is the best thing a father can do

Shopking had overly expensive patreon tiers and some of those tiers included a code for a "random den item" which could count as item selling and gambling. This is also in addition to him plastering tons of ads on his videos and apparently having a job.

From what I know, selling codes is a bit of a grey area in the AJ TOS when it comes to selling items. He was jambassador at the time of that and I imagine he would’ve gotten approval from AJHQ if he went through with it. If I had to assume, it would’ve been like reselling an actual physical AJ product because you technically own that along with the physical slip the code came on As for the video ads, that just kinda makes sense. He did KZread as a full time job for a while and it started to pay less and less with advertisers on KZread pulling out at the time. He wasn’t trying to be greedy for money or anything but he was trying to continue the videos people were enjoying while also supporting his family in the process

@@Kek_AJ I don't have a problem with putting a bunch of ads on videos. You need to make money somehow. The problem is that they weren't for an exclusive item, it was for a random item. This means it could either be something good or complete trash. I'm glad he's not doing this anymore and I hope his health gets better.

Normal AJ does this too lol. The whole game is really about learning, making friends, and getting the rarest items and stuff. It shouldn't be considered as gambling but as collecting, taking a 50/50 roll the dice move to try and get a rare item. It shouldn't be too easy to collect them, so therefore it shouldn't be considered gambling, but instead collecting/hunting the rare items. Its someone's choice to pay real money to do it to get more chances if they want. :3

I was really hoping we'd see sethyy in this list, because sethyy had randomly disappeared and stopped making content for a long time, i mean like 5 years. It really is a shame that when you grow up you see these people you used to watch grow up too -- and finally move on from something you saw as important.

Wolffeycat quit and went off to college, WooshieWoo quit after trying to peruse other game content (also because of the controversies he found himself in within the AJ com), Pianoskycat I haven’t heard much about but I assume it’s something of a similar reason with her sister, Rockabillykitty, who quit because she didn’t enjoy the game anymore. And WootMoo sold all of his items and quit around 2021 but plays other games now instead

Yeah my younger sister quit just due to the game being very deaf tone towards players & just overall weird. We both made choices based off too much happening to people & left fully. She's currently in college going for a homicide detective career path. Myself on Roblox working for larger platform games as an artist / community manager. I still do content on the side, but isn't my major path really anymore due to working on games.

libertyy... such a throwback.... it's kind of crazy that aparri still plays. he plays normally too. i found him in coral canyons just jumping on the bridge alone the other week some people i always think of when hearing "animal jam youtubers that disappeared" is parrot aj/parrrrrrrrrrrrot and little uni. they weren't very big, parrot had only about 1k subscribers and little uni reached 10k in 2016. parrot quit in 2018 after getting massive amounts of harassment and death threats from hyenine and his friends, and little uni just stopped posting sadly :(

for some reason shopking now wears a white scarf just looked and his account was on over 30 days ago and Aparri has a job now, I talk to him every now and then

As far as I have seen, the list included some people who became obviously nostalgic for the community. However and unfortunately, I think there are many more KZreadrs (in which some are extremely underrated for the time-being). I know one of them urgently and permanently disappeared from KZread immediately, but aside from that, it may remain a mystery. On the other hand, I consider it to also be necessary for them to focus on the rest of life (and please note, this isn't to force anyone to leave the game or community itself).

I miss ShopKing so much... :(

It's hard seeing all the OG KZreadrs just vanish from the game. Most of them just felt they got too old for the game and left, which sucks. Shopking is one I dearly miss he helped me get my start and just to hear he suddenly left was insane. The last I heard from him was in an old group chat and that there was a hurricane (?) of some sort hitting his town and that's all. Very scary for sure. I hope he is okay. Loved this video Kek and very informative to those in the community.

When they were only worth 8 black longs, I traded my tan headdress to Shopking for 8 of his 1 of 1 art pieces. He buddied me during the time. I expected to eventually be removed, but he never did unbuddy me so I am still buddies with the account. I havent played in about 2 years though.

He was in trouble with AJHQ after hacking a multitude of accounts of active players and attempting to blackmail Aparri and Bruizer (busness) for months. As far as I'm aware, he was handed a cease and desist by WildWorks to refrain from engaging in the game or creating content for the game

Wisteria is still around in the community (you can see her poke her head in around KZread livestreaming or TikTok), Julian2 quit after expressing his unenjoyment for the game and went off to college (which those swimming videos are related to) and the brown arctic wolf you're thinking of is Busness (aka Bruizer) who also went off to college and quit making videos

Bepper works at a pet store from what I last heard, she’s kind of in and out like others I mentioned in this video but I would group her in with other Jambassadors who’ve kind of just moved on but are still around in the community
