I'm sure they probably go over things in rehearsal with the animal expert telling Conan what NOT to do. I almost think some of the things with animals are intentional, like Conan immediately wrapping the snake around his neck and then Clyde informing him they kill their prey by constricting lol

Gotta love Conan man. The man is quick witted, intentionally goofy, incredibly funny, but when he is talking about something serious he is such a caring and understanding guy that treats the segment with proper respect. He is smart as well leaving politics out of the show and segments. I think it would require quite a bit of an effort to find people that don't like him. The man is a national treasure.

I love every time a cute fury animal comes on the show, Conan's first instinct is to rub his face against it.

7:46 that was genuine fear on Conan's face LMAO I know he was thinking what if that thing clawed an audience member LMAO!!

Another reason Conan is great is because he had the balls to hold and interact with the animals. Too many hosts are too afraid to do that.

Other talk show hosts: “Ahhh get the butterfly away from me it’s too scary!” Conan: “Put the big venomous bug that we know nothing about in my hair and release some owls into the crowd”

Love that Conan asks the animal expert questions and let’s them actually share about the animal

I think he's trying to kill Conan. "Put this on your skin... okay, it's venomous!" "Put this on your neck... okay, it's a constrictor!"

My friend had a chinchilla who had the softest coat you'd imagine, and a good cuddler, but they have to be caged bc they're gnawers.

Yea, I ended up taking care of 2 orphaned cottontail bunnies and until then I never knew how soft their fur was. I prefer them running up to me and giving me kisses then wearing them as a coat.... I've always been confused about how first off, the coats they make out of animals that have soft fur the fur is always on the outside for display, rather than on the inside for the softness, so a my opinion aside from it being a horrible thing to do, it's also an absolute waste of an animal's life.

If proper respect were present at all there wouldn't be a chinchilla. Everything about this scenario is stress city, down to his refusal to hold it properly (read: SAFELY).

These old Conan clips are so funny! But that poor Chinchilla after Conan called it a rat haha. He’s some of the inspiration for my own show.

this is why i like conan, when the guy told him the whip scorpion had venom he didnt freak out and throw it, he made a disappointed face at the guy like "and now you tell me?" and makes a joke about it being in a vulnerable place in its body

Conan is so brave to let those bugs crawl on him. I got anxiety just watching that.

My favorite part is that he's so eager to play with the animals something you don't see with the other talk show host with the same concept

I like how Conan's hair moves everytime he moves.

I hope you eventually upload all of the animal segments, also including Jarrod Miller and others. They're GOLD!

I had one she was adorable.

That adorable chinchilla lamb puff just made my day. So squishy and cute! 🤓☁️🤏🏻😍 Although with those beady eyes and twitchy whiskers, I could totally see him planning world domination. No, not Conan. The chinchilla. 😉

Some animal expert! Brings out a Tailless Whip Scorpion, probably species Damon diadema since he stated it as from Tanzania and when Conan asks whether it's a spider or a scorpion he says damn if I know! I think the answer to Conan's question is neither but they are related to both since they belong to the same class of arthropod as spiders and scorpions as Arachnids. Plus, to top it off he says they are venomous which in fact they are not!
