Y'know...the perfect Splatoon 3 concert would be after the Splatoon 3 DLC is released for a while, and then Damp Socks feat. Off the Hook opens with multiple songs, then Deep Cut is the main attraction, after which the Squid Sisters sing Wave Goodbye, and then the Squid Sisters and Deep Cut do Calamari Inkantation 3MIX again...and the biggest final reveal would be that the Squid Sisters, Off the Hook, and Deep Cut all perform Now Or Never to wrap it all up! It'd be like a dream! 🦑🐙

I can’t wait until they do just this. We need Calamari Inkantation 5-Mix. Or whatever they call it with two more idols on stage. It would be surreal but definitely doable with 7. For composers, that’s an easy feat. It would be almost like a Persona Q2 thing, where they bring all 3 idol groups back for a finale. But it would be a total trip of work for the animators to have that many. (And then there’s the future Splatoon 5 concert, with 12 holo idols on stage :) )

Imagine you have to go with your parent to this concert because you can’t go alone and have to explain this to them

52:14 This is literally the best song I have ever heard in my life. From the salsa piano keys, to the foundational bass and drums, to the impactful synth horns, it's just perfect. It's like every instrument is soloing all at the same time. To whoever mixed this, you need to increase the bass a bit (bassist's bias), but besides that, how on earth did you get this to mix so perfectly?

You can never go wrong with a iv-bVII-III-bVI-iim7b5-V-i. Fits really well under that chorus. I once arranged that bit instead with a vi-vi-bVI-bVI-i-i-IV-IV backing, thought it sounded fire. You can do a lot of different things with it.

I love this concert so much and Splatoon 3’s music in general, so this is such a treat to see again. But I gotta say, after seeing this a second time, I noticed that the drummer is getting way too into it 😂😂😂😂😂

I’m crying man, Animal Crossing in 2020 hits close to home, literally

I love when the songs here have a conclusion and sometimes solos, I mean, I already love splatoon Ost but those are one of the things I love of concert's versions

so im sure a lot of people like k.k. but its funny to me to see the “most watched bar” SKY ROCKET as soon as deep cut is on stage.

No one talking about the insane electric guitar solo at 49:45 bro it goes so hard!

Big man's dancing during hide and sleek was awesome, that song in general really became something special in the live performance

this is like my biggest hyperfixation for 2 years and my current big hyperfixation in one concert.

I love seeing both Animal Crossing and Splatoon have a concert together Mario and Zelda may be the biggest Nintendo franchises, but these two are just as special as those I got the switch in 2019 for Christmas in anticipation for Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and during the long wait for the game I got into AC and Splatoon and it’s been an amazing experience!

I kinda want to see a version of this concert where we had Squid Sisters, Off the Hook and Deep Cut performing together. That could end with a new version of the Calamari Inkantation too. Just, don't forget about Octavio's part in the 3MIX next time it's performed?

Less KK, not because KK is bad but because the next version should be in the US and they have three games worth of music to get through. Even a highlights only would be like, City of Color, Maritime Memory, Fresh Start, Wave Goodbye, Nasty Majesty, Fly Octo Fly ~ Ebb and Flow, Into the Light, a song or two from Side Order, Anarchy Rainbow (extended), Til Depth Do Us Part, another Deep Cut track, Calamari Inkantation into 3mix, then getting everyone on stage for Now or Never. And that's assuming no solos! I have to imagine that Animal Crossing characters are a lot easier to animate than cephalings though, they have much simpler movements.

the way frye and shiver have amazing lip-sync animations then big man is just like :D :| :D :|

shivers vocal range is so insane, like she can sing super low but for hide and sleek she sang an octave higher than frye!

I love how with Nintendo Idols I can't understand a word being said in the music but it speaks to me anyway and I end up enjoying every bit of it.

If there is anyone I relate to most on this stage, it's the drummer putting all of his goblin heart-energy-&-soul into this performance

Great respect to all the other actual musicians, but man that dude on the drums was just in the zone

It's really nice to see that the Squid Sisters are still in the concerts

I wish I could ever do something with as much as enthusiasm as the drummer does.

Everyone's talking about Splatoon, but why not Animal Crossing? Let's be real, seeing Marshal, Sasha, Sherb, Chrissy and Francine in the concert made my heart drop because i love these villagers so much 😭

The concert holds up 80% KK and 20% Deep Cut with the Squid sisters thrown in there. Beside, Watching a Dog playing a Rap board while 4 animals showing up doing a boring dance does get boring after a while.

Because they just stand there and wave their hands around. Also they did that weird DJ remix thing to all the music so it sounds bland. I like Animal Crossing and Splatoon equally but my god that was lame.

While all the new idols they add will be great, the Squid Sisters will NEVER get old. Not for one millisecond will I ever be bored of the Calliemarie duo

I loved catching this live on the Nintendo Japan channel. Had to get up at 5:30 AM, but it was worth it.
