I have never ever seen one, or even heard one get away (walked by it and scared it off). I haven't seen or heard their existence on my island yet 😂😂😂

I must have caught a dozen scallops while trying to find a Dungeness crab yesterday. Oh well, did manage to also catch that cute lil Umbrella guy. One more to the Critterpedia!

yeah, somehow I pulled up 6 pearls, plus one from Pascal (blew my mind again with some skillet sizzling existentialism) and every other creature before finally getting the crab I needed. Worth it.

I catch Dungeness crabs all the time lol

For those having trouble seeing walking sticks, it's because when you get close they "fade" into the tree. If you stand still they will come out again, but if you just run past you will never see it. Look at the trees at the edge of the screen when you're running around and you are more likely to see them. Good luck!

the umbrella octopus won't get away if you just keep going. I always follow under water. When you come up for air it pauses. I have never let one get away.

Almost in the same boat. I need one bug and three fish, but I went to a southern hemisphere island and caught the two sea creatures I needed back in October because I am not waiting until March to finish my critterpedia 😂

December 1st - the day I can finish my fish collection. December 11th - the day I can finish my bug collection. (the reason it's the 11th is because this is the first day it snows, which means the dung beetle can start spawning behind snowballs).

I time traveled. My first snow was Dec 2nd. Granted this was before the Turkey Day update, so I dunno if that changes anything.

Some of the rare beetles are really hard to catch, make sure to only approach while they're moving like you do with scorpions and tarantulas Idk if that's obvious or not, but it wasn't for me back in July lol

@Rabuto Yeah. I always went to the mystery Islands and cut down all the trees, plucked the flowers, and dug up the stumps and I still had issues finding some of them.

I don’t like that the butterflies have left :( they are all so pretty

The Golden Trout is such a pain to catch. Been trying for awhile now, never caught it.

It took me an hour of constant bait and fishing for me to catch one 😩 it was horrible

My sister caught the stick for me 'cause I really wasn't seeing it!😅

I absolutely love your videos so much Mayor Mori, they always help me to ether know what bugs and fish are leving or new events and furniture coming to the game. "Critterpidera" i found the dugeness crab to be very hard to catch. Keep up the amazing work and have a lovely day buddy and also stay safe out there ♥️

Criterpedia~ I have a hard time with the waterfall cliff fish and rarer ocean fish. :/ The white flowers tip for the Orchid Mantis was amazing! Definitely planning on racking up the bells next season!!

Octopus + Critterpedia Catching a walking stick was absolute hell. All those times I accidentally scared one off running around...

The only way I caught the walking stick for my Critterpedia was by using a Nook Miles Ticket in the early morning and denuding the poor island I visited of anything but a few trees at ground level that I could "patrol" fairly easily.

I can’t wait for the December season, it’s so exciting! I still need a few fish to catch so hopefully I can catch them with your helpful tips.

You could go to settings and put date and time the set which month you want and go press the + button to get what fish or bug you want 100% works

First few days of every new month I usually have the new stuff donated to Blathers. Then I sell anything else I catch.

On the 27.11 (europe date) I finished donating my fossils and almost finished decorating my island. Missing a few bugs but my other creatures are in working progress - now I can work on them. I got the game in the middle of september so.... (plus because I wasn't happy I restarted in october). Now ACNH is my most played game by 105 hours (345 in total) next is Yu-gi-oh legacy of the duelist with 240 hours. Never expected to spend so much time playing it and still having stuff to do.

I only need 1 bug, 3 fish, and 3 deep sea critters; thankfully I’ll finish up the bug and fish in December, but I’d still need to wait until about March to finish the deep sea critters. I can’t wait and right now I’m working on collecting the models for my catalog.

Today, I caught my first coelacanth. I was shocked. Super shocked.

I am up today for the most part. Will likely have to wait until closer to March before I have everything because of when diving was introduced but that is okay. Critterpedia.

For the crittopedia, I think the hardest to get is the Coelacanth for me. I still try to get him.

Well I only need one bug the dung beetle, now fish missing a lot (but have all from the months I’ve played), deep sea only need 8, have all fossils, and only have 6 artwork. But finally got one of the islanders I wanted Lucky (mummy dog) today, only 4 more islanders I want for my wants

It says the cherry salmon is only there between 4pm and 9am, but in the critterpedia it now says it's active during the whole day... haven't managed to catch a golden trout though...

There were some bugs that I just straight up never saw in like July when we had a ton. So I am sadly missing a couple. I’m not a fan of time travel, but I suppose I could if I ever really want to 100% my Critterpedia.

Everyone in the northern hemisphere making all these comments about being sad about the lack of creatures and such, and then there’s me, who got the game in June and chose a southern island, who got stuck with barely any creatures or events as the transition to winter was too fast for me to process ._.

If I would’ve caught the Tarantula and the Scorpion without being scared by one or having to think I’ll get nightmares about those bugs then the Dung Beetle would be the last bug I would need to catch rn🥲

Thanks for making these informative videos. It lets me know what to do what to look for. Do you not put $10,000 in the hole after you dig up the $1,000 bells? You can make $90,000 bells once the tree grows. FYI if you didn’t know.

I just wanna say as a Southern Hemisphere. There isnt really much bugs or fishes in the winter. I mean, theres the dung beetle. But aside from that. Yeah

Critterpedia. I hated trying to catch the crabs. They move so dang fast, and I could never get above them; as they kept moving. Plus; the diving mechanics takes too long, and the crabs have moved out of range by the time I underwater.

The things usually wait when you come up for air. Try to herd them next to the fence, it's easier to catch them when they turn.

@@joycecook3402 yes, go into your critterpedia and move the marker over the different critters... if you don’t see a blathers mark, you need to donate it still.
