You should’ve been there back in 2016 when these first came out. No shortage or anything cuz nobody cared about them 😂 I used to go into toys r us (they’re the only ones who carried them after a few months) and buy like 5-10 packs at a time every time. Then 2 years ago just before the amiibo card craze started, I bought a 4 pack of one box per series. It was 400 cards for $230 and I saw the listing a year ago and it was over $1000

And this is one reasonable attribute to why some of us Dont have even 1 pack they sell out so fast and pack scalpers do this it's cool to see but only makes me wanna buy a pack... oh wait I cant becuase they are sold out / upwards of $5-10 Per card on Ebay and amazon wants almost $30-50 for 1 collectors pack as it's now called

Not sure about others but where I am the stores have re released them. But theyre almost always sold out.

The targets in my town sell them for like 5 bucks, but they normally sell out sadly

I was able to find the sanrio one at target and bought it but there was nothing else. I have two targets near me and one had nothing and the other had the snario.

love how peaceful this is but the child laughter is very unsettling and disturbing to me.

And this is exactly why I will never start to collect these things. There's way too many villagers and not enough money and they're always out of stock. Just easier to go to Etsy and buy the ones you want. Not going to argue this isn't exciting but I've collect photocards before and it's thrilling, but tiresome, especially when you don't end up with the ones you want and get multiple duplicates. If I believed in luck, I'd say I have terrible luck. At least I can still get my fill by watching others do it, I'm always rooting for people to get their faves and thrilled when they do.

Their cards for Animal Crossing. When you use them, they invite the selected character on the card to your island or town (depends on the game). Some villagers don't have a card because their brand new (they were added on New Horizons).

I recently was able to open my first packs of amiibo cards last week and it was so fun! I got two dreamies of mine Lucky and Stitches! Great beautiful video. Thanks for sharing and glad you got your desired cards!

I have lucky Coco Bob stitches Marshall and more desired amiibos all because of this pack that wasnt a proper packet but inside it had a thank u note and had like 40 amiibos altogether coming with some ACNH thumbgrips but I got it online so yeah

I should have kept collecting these when they first came out cause then no one really wanted them and they were still a reasonable price and easy to find. Now they are like 20 bucks a pack and it’s makes it so difficult to afford collecting them much less find them! 😭

@deadbreadboi you used to be able to find them at Walmart and Target pretty easily cause no one wanted them till the amiibo update that New Leaf got be even they were still easier to find before New Horizons

I would recommend selling your duplicates for about $2.00 each. I would recommend eBay

People in the comments saying this person is the reason nobody can get cards, it’s pretty normal to buy that many from different series at once. I used to do it all the time back in 2016-2018 because nobody cared to get them. It’s not taking away from anyone else, Nintendo just isn’t making as many cards now because they’ve been out for 5 years and only just got any interest like a year ago. Of course they’re not gonna make too many of these when for years they sold ok and not great. Try to find them whenever you can but don’t blame people like this for Nintendo’s stocking issues.

@Hooman No, it’s not! You can resell them on Amazon or any other sites. It’s like any other trading card set, like Pokémon or baseball cards :)

I got Marshals amiibo! I was so happy I scanned him in my island immediately and few days later I got the Sanrio cards from Best Buy! They were the last pack

Hello hellooo, I wanna ask a question, this question isn't related to the vid at all but it's about the digital journey tamplet, so I just used your tamplet for digital journal but for some reason when I write why is it so huge? I had a digital tamplet before and it was normal, I tried using yours and tried writing using the same size I normally use before (the pencil, highlighyer) and it's so small, idk why but I'm just confused ( ; A ;)

I’m pretty sure it’s just a binder with card holder inserts :p I do know theres some like animal crossing card holder binders for sell too

amazing collection and the same hapen to me got a lot of duplicates but is fine i gave them to my nephews and nices, but i would recomend to find them ebay that is way i did since i was missing around 60 cards and buying was not a good option , got a lot of the card around 2 dlls each most of them and some around 10dlss the most wanted villager but still is better than buying packs and pack hoping to get all of them
