I've used mine for base and clear on Dodge Charges doors and trunks. I wouldn't recommend for roofs or hoods. Love mine.

It's quite powerful for a mini and does have a 1.2mm tip. I think it probably would. Just my opinion. Thanks for watching much appreciated.

Have you done a whole car panel with it?

I haven't yet. I do believe it has the capability. It's way more powerful then my Sprayit guns and I painted a whole regular cab pickup truck with them.
