That's wild. I got the exact 2 guns except my f1 is a 1.5. Got mine a few years ago and just not about to use the 160. I have used the f1 a few times. Was looking recommended air pressure for it. Thanks for video

It looks and feels really nice like the R150. I wasn’t expecting it to be too much different than the R150, but lots of little changes. I found even more differences today when cleaning it out. I’ll try to cover those when I do the test and comparison video of the 2 gunZ head to head. It’s the same price as the R150 too. I think ANI is probably the best value/quality you can get for the price. I watched The Gunman and then yours and a couple other ANI reviews and was sold. Glad I got one, and now 3. Used the F1/N and sprayed some wet flake through it. Worked pretty good, but realized I hate wet flake. Going to use for primer only now. Should be great for that.

That residue is the paint ANI test the gun with!

Mine had them same exact paint residue left over also on the r160-q other then that great gun.

True. Yeah it’s decent gun and a great price.

I've used the old r 150. And it was an excellent gun. When you do get around to testing the 160. The thing everyone will want to know is the actual air consumption. Actually I would love to see someone do a real world small compressor run on one. I'm not certain the 3.6 CFM is realistic because when I sprayed the r150 I had a 2 stage compressor to work with. There is a huge void between guys who spray cars, and people who only do models. And where a huge market of guys who just paint helmets masks and panels. Are very under served in the market. Left with just either get an lph 80 or struggle with cheap trash guns.

Yes, the R150 is an awesome gun. Been using as my dedicated clear gun. I would say the 3.6CFM is accurate with the R150. I recently upgrade my compressor from a oil less 3.7CFM to a single stage 6.6CFM compressor. I can definitely tell a difference and the new compressor does keep up and old one struggled. I love my LPH-80, but not the price tag so much. ANI is the best I have found for low air consumption guns for us small compressor guyZ. I will be focusing my channel on the small guy stuff. Until I blow up and have my own shop so I can finally paint carZ too!!!

@@BrusHstroKeZ Exactly the lph is a good minigun.. but its priced up there... Although when I looked at the th2.. i was like uhh why would I buy that over an lph with a .8 tip. Just bought a laptop.. so broke again :/

@@TheAIRspace Right. I wanted the TH2 when it came back too, but saw the price tag. I'll just get another LPH80 next instead. Glad you got a computer! I keep looking at them and reviews everyday. Just doing my thumbnails and editing on these last 2 videos on this old slow computer, has me about ready to break the darn thing! Took me several hours to do what should have taken minutes. What did you get?

@@BrusHstroKeZ Yeah the only benefit the th2 might have is slightly easier to clean.. but other than that a low cfm spray gun actually has fan control. I applaud the idea of airbrushes with fan tips, but since you only have control over 2 versus 3 things they are inferior in design to a spray gun. The TH2 might atomize finer and do a better job on candy blends but I dont have several hundred bucks laying around to buy them all and see. :/

when will you upload about the ANI F1/N-SUPER-S im planning to buy 1 and use it for primer cant find any review about it . i also got the r160 Q

I’ve used it for primer and flake only. I like it a lot for doing them. Not sure how good it’d be for base or clear. I have a 2.0 tip so can’t really test for those. But great primer gun, especially for the price. Still using it and no issues.

Bought ANI guns from SGD with no problems, That’s pretty bad isn’t it!!

VR6 Caddy Yeah, I was disappointed. They did do a partial refund and sent me the correct scanner/wrench. That was ANI’s fault though, not SGD. I’ve got 4 guns from them now. No issues with anything else. I still like their pricing and super fast shipping.

Not helpful until u use the dang guns, genius 😮

Well there’s absolutely zero difference in how they spray that I can tell. So I felt no need to do a video of almost identical guns. Plenty of videos out there on these guns. And the R-150 is no longer available or relevant.

2mm seems big what primer requires this large?

John Miller I use Tamco DTM primer. They suggest a 1.8 or bigger. Wanted to try it for wet flake too so I went with the 2.0.

Yes, Sprayguns Direct said they talked to ANI. ANI uses black paint to test and they failed to clean this one properly.
