Damn, I've been forcing myself to stick to therapy for a couple of months now, trying to get to the core issues underlying my NPD w/antisocial traits - this one video has helped me tremendously. I believe I can integrate this insight. Incredible.

This was posted right when I need it most. Thank you, it's very insightful! This is definitely me....I've had this as my mode of protection for many years but now I understand it....My boyfriend suggested using Pineapple as our safe word a week ago after our last fight, too bad we never actually tried it. It's nice to know it's a real technique and it might have actually worked.

The relationship is probably not okay if the person keeps breaking down any boundary you have and doesn’t know what respecting a boundary means.

What if you have a partner that gets triggered like this 90% of the time, any discussion can potentially lead to angry protector mode... you have to leave in the end...
