I know that "break up with them" or "end the friendship" is considered the meme advice when it comes to conflict within friend groups, social groups and relationships when something happens, but for that first example I would just cut off contact and walk away immediately. I don't care how long the friendship has lasted, I wouldn't want to be around anyone who is capable of doing something like that, let alone actually going through with it in a fit of anger. Massive red flag right there.

This is why I can never win with my orks I play to have fun and watch the story unfold. I dont mind losing if everyone has a good game.

That first story reminds me of the typical 40k player here in Virginia. They hate having new people encroach on their little fiefdoms.

I have a permanent board set up in my basement. It's always already set up 😂 I've worked and worked to make the board even with any type of deployment, so sometimes there's thought of fairness behind an already set up board.

This Warren guy... all I can say, you throw my models (anything of mine really) into traffic, you're buying yourself a one way ticket to snap city lol

Wandeiring monster with scatter dice. Love it. Thinking of doing something similar with a battle masters game, have a dragon wildcard

I can identify with the defendant in the first story. In that I understand being jealous of your friends. Not in a romantic sense as Exile suggested, but when you have very few friends you can become extremely passionate towards them. I began resenting my best friend because I went from having access to him whenever I wanted to feeling like I was replaced by his girlfriend. I didn't understand what I was feeling at the time, but having thought about it years later with the benefit of hindsight and frankly "growing up" I can diagnose myself. I never expressed any of this to him at the time since I was disgusted with myself for feeling that way. In my case he had to basically brute force his way back into my life. We've talked about our little "break-up" and apologized to each other for slights real and imagined. Warren sounds unwell in a way that I never was. Attempting to destroy something not only valuable, but emblematic of your friendship via the hobby you share is pathological behavior.

At the lowgamer warhammer fantasy tournament i used to go, one of the sidegames always was a 'green king of the hill' battle. Every orc player sets up their army on one board, with a hill in the middle and the player that has the most points on top of the hill at the end of the game wins. We also tried to do that with empire armies but since its not orcs, it wasn't that entertaining.

He wouldn't smash his friend's ork army if it was owned by Conan the barbarian so why do it to him ? I would then behave accordingly like Conan the barbarian would react and seek quick justice and witness the lamentation of his women (if he even has a woman in his life). Chucking something around the same size of a hand luggage bag onto a road is just asking for people to die, what if next time he did something that hurt or put someone young, old or physically vulnerable in danger ? briefly explain why you're walking away from that guy to him and then walk away forever. That was an example of immature male jealous behaviour where they think they will get no more attention or consideration anymore when their friend starts going out with a woman. Never get in the way of a man and his woman or a man and his life is my motto.

I wouldn't expect you to enjoy Darksouls, You enjoy narrative experiences so suffering against a boss for 4 hours just to learn his name and 2 throw away lines of vague lore would not be fun for you. Darksouls isn't for everyone nothing to do with being a "good gamer".

I don’t mind it but I have not got very far into it. Beautiful graphics for it’s time and some great looking armour, weapons , characters and enemies. It’s fun but I sometimes want a more restful evening than trying to get that one sword swing right 👍🏼

I’ll sub to the paytch today, but I just wanted to say the background music volume is distractingly louder than previous vids. I am a nutjob when it comes to audio so please don’t think I’m like pissed or trying to get you to change something if you like it. Keep it up doggie!
