Angry Crested Gecko - Welcome Home Jack

A friend of mine has returned Jack after a year of being a breeder over at her place. I have decided to keep Jack here for good now and retire him from breeding. He will be 5 years old in March. (She's keeping his son as a future breeder, an amazing quad stripe)
I am the only person Jack gets excited and feisty over. Everytime I went to visit, he would sense and smell my presence, jump onto me and latch on with a mating call. He's happy to be back and I am more than happy to have my little buddy back. 😃

I recently adopted an adult crestie and its always aggressive and biting. Since hes an adult and has always been abused should i just assume he will bite everytime i take him out of the tank? He also runs away from my hand when i try to pick him up as well

I would just take my time with him. Just give him some time to adjust. After a while, maybe offer him some food so he doesn't see you as a threat. Then maybe after a while you can try and get him to climb onto your hand, or gently try and scoop him up Jack here is actually a sweet guy, but he is going through an adjustment period. He's been a breeder the last few years. He has 2 sides. Very sweet, yet very breeding aggressive.

Yeah, same thing as the other reply said. Just take it slower and give him time to get used to you. I'm sure that him having been abused by his previous owner plays a role in his relationship with you.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 KJV, Jesus Christ is the only way.......
