Miss Angelina is literally a genius, she is a wiz at Mathematics (a schoolfriend told that), today she speaks 7 languages, 5 of them now fluently. Norwegian and Swedish, English, Persian/Farsi and Japanese (remember grandfather was from Japan). In school she learnde French and German. At age 8 !!! she gave an interview to a German TV-team and spoke German haltingly, sometimes changing into English. OK, someone told me Norwegian and Swedisch are practically the same language. So subtract one language if you want!!!! GRRRRR She plays for sure the piano (very good) and guitar. Some say she plays more instruments, but I never saw or heard that.

I know both Norwegian and Swedish and I can confirm that Norwegian and Swedish have many similarities and can be mutually intelligible to some extent, however they are considered separate languages due to their distinct linguistic features and separate identities.

Alf, many thanks for clarification, a few weeks back a commenter, claimed it was just like a different dialect. At least this is as I understood it. It gets pretty difficult to know right from wrong. 2 days in a row, someone acused me of lying about the practice time put in by AJ. It loses its fun to help others with information. Not you, sir. You are kind, but some persons have a pretty agressive tone, when critiquing. YES I am a human and make errors. But have this people to be so aggressive. This is not the style I see in the angels. Absolutely phenomenal performance from our musical genius, Cover of a Cover as the original artist Mark James who wrote and recorded Suspicious Minds didn’t achieve with his original, then Elvis covered the song and it was a hit, The first two little girls in the video are Angelina’s cousins her Managers children, the eldest girl is Angelina’s sister Juliette, production input from Angelina’s Grandma Merry Zamani who is a talented artist, pianist is two times Grammy Award winner Rob Christie the musical director of Republic Records who Angelina signed with at the age of 14 years old, Angelina is paying tribute to Elvis with her black outfit and her red guitar and Pricilla Presley hair style, great reaction thanks 🙏

The hairdo is like Elvis wife Priscilla wore hers, called a Beehive. This is a tribute to Elvis' song. The black leather and guitar was a tribute to his 68 comeback special.

Absolutely what I expected. She made this her own song and she did it beautifully. I noticed Juliet sitting there she is going to be as beautiful as Angelina one day. Elvis' version is great, and it still is one of my favorites. but Angelina's version is equally great and is definitely her own. When I first heard this song I loved it and put it at #3 on my playlist (Angelina Jordan Playlist by Terry M.), about midday I moved it up to #1. The main thing that changed my mind was the power in her voice. I'm not talking about loudness I'm talking about the power she has regardless of how loud or soft she sings. This is a quality that I haven't heard from anyone in my 83 years. This voice has become so unique that it is totally unmatched. Her phrasing in the last bridge is great. And she got Elvis’s ‘Oh Yea’ at the end of the song. The pianist is Rob Christie (3 Grammys), he is the head of the Republic Record department that is responsible for Angelina and other singers. The two small kids are her uncle Mike's kids, and the older girl is Angelina's sister. If you haven’t already reacted to her latest studio version of Whitney Houston's version you should - here’s the link - kzread.info/dash/bejne/m4xkyZtymrGYZrg.html 🙂

This is an Elvis tribute she is wearing the black leather jumpsuit like Elvis wore, the red guitar he used in his 1968 comeback tour, the hair do is how he's wife Percilla wore her hair, the blue suede shoes, on the couch, which is the name of one of Elvis songs, the setting represents Graceland, and the three little girls represent Lisa Marie (Elvis and Percillas daughter) growing up in Graceland,, the two youngest girls are AJs little cousins (also her uncle/ managers girls,,,, the older girl is AJs little 11yr old Sister Juliette,, .... you really need to go hear Elvis sing This song his way... you will not even believe this is the same song.....

More info: At 16. Released June 22, 2022. By November, 3.8M views on KZread alone. Angelina starts off with the bridge, completely different from anyone else; and then, begins with the opening line of the song. Her beehive hairdo, is in the homage to Priscilla...many photographs of her hair exactly like that. And a leather outfit he later wore. The guitar is the Elvis 1968 "Comeback" Guitar. Rob Christie actually owns this one. The two young cousins, are Uncle/Manager Michael's children. The young girl is her sister, Juliette. Angelina had a framed photo of Elvis in the Service, at the location. Such respect. Rob Christie is on the piano. (Currently Republic Records award winning Studio Director) 🌺

Thank you for returning to Angelina. Your reactions to her performances are always worth watching. The song was written by Mark James, an American singer/songwriter, who recorded it the year it was written. The best known version, however, was that done by Elvis Presley. It was his last No 1 song. In the Wikipedia entry of the origins of the song, Mark James is said to have remarked "That late one night, he was fooling around on his Fender guitar and using his Hammond organ pedals for a bass line and came up with what he thought was a catchy melody. At the time, he was married to his first wife but still had feelings for his childhood sweetheart, who was married back in Houston. James's wife had suspicions about his feelings. He felt it was a confusing time for him and that all three were "caught in this trap that they could not walk out of." Other singers covering this song invariably base their performance on that of Elvis, in that it is very "upbeat". Angelina took a very different path in that she read and understood the lyrics and what Mark James intended when writing them . To my mind, her rendition is much truer to the emotions of the song. The children appearing in the video were Angelina's cousins Aurora (first) and then Athena - daughters of her uncle Michael Astar, and then her sister Juliette. I would hazard a guess that they were included to emphasise that children are very important to Angelina and her family. Confession! I have never been a great fan of Elvis Presley, although I do like some of his earlier recordings, and I had never heard of the song "Suspicious minds" but knew that Angelina would completely take ownership of it, and she did. It was beautiful. After listening to it several times, I decided to download the lyrics to see whether she kept to the original structure. She didn't, and the song is all the better for it. For me, that she started with the Bridge of the song is very significant and, I feel, very indicative of Angelina's "up front" transparency. She was declaring that it was important that their love did not die, and then carries on to say why she feels as she does. Others first say how they feel and then, almost as an afterthought, assure their love they don't want it to end. For me, it is whether I feel the singer is genuine about the situation and wishes it could be resolved or whether the singer understands the situation but thinks the blame is on her/his partner but feels the need to assure them they don't want it to end (until somebody else comes along).

Suspicious Minds was written and originally recorded by Mark James, then covered and made popular by Elvis. Like many other songs, Angelina remakes it into something totally new, yet retro.

Yeah! She’s something special, isn’t she? Power & Pure Velvet Perfection! This vocal arrangement was all Angelina, I have no doubt in collaboration with a stellar team including Rob Christie & Mery Zamani her Grandmother. She is a Master Storyteller. The video is shot in the same Antique Store that she did 'My Funny Valentine' on Valentine’s Day. I believe it is in LA near her home. I believe the girls in the video represent Angelina's Journey from infancy to present through the classics of music history. Thus the Antique store, She grew up studying and performing these classics. Did you notice that right foot raise it’s heal to cradle the guitar a couple of times in the performance? I was waiting for her to throw in a little shake to it in homage to the King. Could that have been intentional? That is Rob Christie on piano. Sister Juliette and a couple of Uncle Michael's Babies. I think that makes them cousins not nieces. Full Black Leather Bodysuit, the guitar from his concert in 68 and the hair a homage to Priscilla Presley. Yeah! She can bring tears to your eyes. I base my interpretation on my knowledge of Angelina's journey from an 18 month old little girl singing a "classic" of music history 'I Will Always Love You' . She has been listening to these classics on repeat on YOUTube since then under the guidance and inspiration of her Grandmother Mery Zamani. She has been performing these classics since her first time in studio at 6 yrs old.. She has continued this journey through her 1st introduction to the world with her "Classic'" 'Gloomy Sunday’ and following with her many performances at her many Jazz Festivals, TV performances, Concerts, and charity events, studio recordings and practice sessions at home accompanied or not. The location in the Antique store represents these classics (like the furniture) of another era. To me she portrays wonder at all these classics surrounding her. as she has travelled this road. Her tribute to Elvis is at her present age, today, each stage represented by her cousins and sister and ending with Angelina herself on the couch still admiring all this history surrounding her. The beautiful rendition of the song, and other tributes are in the leather outfit, Guitar and hair a tribute to Priscilla. Just my interpretation but it makes the most sense to me. ♥👣👸🏻

Nice reaction Eddy. First of all… not saying anything IS a reaction… it’s very common when reacting to Angelina. She often leaves everyone speechless. Secondly… you say you’ve never heard a n Elvis song. You can continue to claim that - Angelina transformed this particular song into something totally unique (she does that often). Don’t get me wrong… this is a fine song by Elvis (although not one of my favorites), and his version is cool, but Angelina’s version is so much more emotive. Nice to see you back. I hope school’s working out well. I look forward to your next AJ reaction, but don’t rush it if it will sidetrack your school plans. Greetings from Vermont (USA). 🎶💚👣

Hi Mr E.👋. Actually that was a nice reaction. Watching you be mesmerized by her was the reaction. It spoke volumes. Most people I know who talk alot usually have ADHD. Plus some people that talk to much through the videos don't say much, they just ramble. This was a nice reaction Eddie. Angie put alot of Elvis Easter eggs, like her hair is what his wife Priscilla had back then, the little girl's (cousins) representing her and his daughter Lisa Marie growing up in the spotlight etc etc. We hope you have a reflective and wonderful Resurrection day ✝️ 🙏❤ 👋 🙂 ( RR will release her 1st official single this April-May and her 1st album this fall of 2023. Please buy and react to each song on it 🙏❤.)

It often helps to know the original or the version that popularized the song. Please have a look at Elvis' version kzread.info/dash/bejne/hmWbl9aPd73Ols4.html . As you can see he was not only a gifted singer but a great entertainer, even if he went away from the meaning of the song the original artist intended. Angelina is a master storyteller, she made the lyrics visible again and regained the original meaning but payed respect to Elvis at the same time (this video is packed visualy by subtle and not so subtle hints to Elvis). Concerning your reaction: I remember a stage presence coach who used to give points for positure, activity and charisms to the artist during her reactions. She completely forgot this task when listening to Angelina's Bohemian Rhapsody, but remebered in the end (OMG I totaly forgot to give her points). So you are more than excused. 😉
