Sometimes there is just nothing more to say, just accept that as a fact 😊. She is so, so good in what she does. We only have to enjoy and support it. And speaking about Angelina's grandmother: to me one of the finest music video's she has made with Angelina is 'When you're smiling' in June 2017. Angelina was 11 years at the time and I promise: that video brings a big smile on everybody's face. I understand that both the bus and the instrumental parts in that video were delivered by musicians from the Norwegian army. And also the school (teachers and fellow students) Angelina attended at the time is participating in it.

With Angelina, it's not about her it is about the music. Black and white, bare feet, old mic, no makeup and boy what a voice!!

I love how she finishes the k in smoke. It’s faint in the back of her palate. A whispered “k.” So much nicer than some would try to change to the front, hard K. Lisa, one of the judges on Norway’s Got Talent, after hearing her, age seven, sing Gloomy Sunday said her voice sounded like she started drinking whiskey early.

There is a song out Under The Water with Angelina Jordan. Very different and very up beat . She is going places . Unbelievable phenomenal extraordinary. I’m so proud of her. Audrey PS please check it out.

Agreed. Angelina has lots of those, at least for me. I always love her stuff on first listen, but then you pick up more and more details, subtleties with each subsequent listen. So textured/layered.

Lol, Bond, James Bond that’s exactly what I felt the first minute. It could be a Bond sing. I think she should do a bond song, why not Billie Eilish did.

This genius we call Angelina Jordan How is it possible that all of the greatest vocalists in my lifetime to date can be combined into one being that is so unique, and that this person has the support, and resources of her family to promote her genius? We then have to consider the vehicle to carry AJ to us, the internet, the chances that all of these variables would be combined are one in several billion. As for the new song, "Love Don't Let Me Go", I have now played it 29 times, and AJ's signature, storytelling vocals are hypnotizing. With the 4 inch heals AJ has on at the start of the video she would be standing 6 feet 5 inches tall, she is 6-foot 1 inch barefooted. AJ wrote this tune, I wonder who the co-writers were, Lana Del Raye, or Redone, or Stargate out of Norway? Co-writers are listed on the streaming services: MTHR (Karl Ivert & Kian Sang - Swedish) They are also the producers.

How thankful are we she chose the wholesome route and appeals to the heart. She has reaped a massive outpouring of love from millions of people worldwide. Smart choice... Simply as you said, you either got it or you don't ,and we all know she has it.Her talent is beyond any other artist. Thanks for the reaction, BTW. here are not enough compliments to express the way she sings.

Instead of any but the basic vocal training on how to protect her voice and breath control Angelinas music training was instrumental guitar piano violin and flute. I have always thought that has informed her runs which to me have always seemed instrumental in how she hits specific notes.

@@SteveAckerman-ly3qg if you look at her Norways Got Talent performances her grandma Meri is seen in the audience with a sign with Angelinas name on it but a picture of Louis Armstrong. Angelina found both those artists when very very young and they were one of her earliest influences. She sung 2 Billie songs in the competition.

This is a really catchy song and it gets better and better the more I hear it. I truly hope this captures a broader audience. My rap and EDM loving 21 year old said “this is good” so there is hope!,

AJ's vibrado is unique to her. it's different for every song and genre.

But she always had an impeccable timing and breath control, and here we have a another specific jazzy vibrato style that she effortlessly pulls out. Vocal coaches say a woman´s vocals is fully developed not before they reach age 25 so this is more than 7 years from now.. Imagine.

She doesn't walk around barefoot. She performs barefoot. That is Grandma Mery. Embarrassed to say when I first heard this I felt relief. I knew she was going to produce something special but was not sure if it was going to be a hit with everybody. Sure enough she did it again. Everything about this is awesome. Very strong Amy Winehouse vibes.

It’s her grandma who has been her mentor/influencer since her birth. She is a world-renowned Iranian artist. The beautiful paintings behind a lot of Angelina’s cover videos are Grandma’s. She also directed/produced most of Angelina’s videos.

It seems so few reactors know this history which is very important for people to know, given the grandmother's influence on Angelina's artistry and the artistry that we appreciate in her videos. The fact that Angelina included her grandmother in this video (1950's Beverly Hills chic) is testament to Angelina's character

She is maturing as a singer and it's getting exciting to watch her grow musically. But, I'll tell you what, there is still the brightness in her voice reflecting her age and I love to hear that very much. Anyway, thanks for a nice reaction to Angelina.

Her first song from Republic is beautiful, as expected, and there's more to come with the album next month, so wake up America, there's a new star in town! Perhaps Albert, although I am convinced that a Bond theme is definitely in her future (nearer than many might think) but it will be a new, unheard of song, written for the movie. Many were speculating on how many covers Angelina might include on her upcoming album (I thought MAYBE one, but doubtful). Sure enough… last night Angelina said (with a big, wide grin) that they were ALL originals. 😬😉🥰

@@peterhormell1511 Yes as I recall reading recently Adele was not initially interested in any covers for her 1st album 19 , she wanted to be seen as a original artist but her manager I think ? was adamant and talked her round to a Bob Dylan song , I believe it was her 3rd or 4th single and it was a big success she absolutely loves that song now .

Every time I see a reactor notice that Angelina has shoes on in one of her videos, I want to stop them, and say "is she SINGING??" I get the impression from some that they think Angelina goes barefoot 24/7. This is a really well written song, and Angelina is fabulous singing it! Love the lyrics and the somewhat throwback feel. Not sure just how much of a throwback they were aiming for, since the recording and mix of the instrumentation has a modern sound. I'm also not sure where people are getting this whole "James Bond" vibe from. Not really getting that except in small parts of the song overall.
