An Angelina addiction is a good addiction to have. She is all over but does it so smoothly. I would love to she them bring back and old style Bond movie just to have sing the bond song. It’s definitely ear candy and soul food. Having her music on in car for long drives is so relaxing.

I think Angelina, with the title "old Enough" wants to pass the message :" Here is the real me", "Here is where I am at today at 17", "Here is my style of singing and it doesn't look like what I've been singing through my childhood or early teen age". "I've shown you time and again what I can sing, what I can musically bring to the table, but now, you're going to see music my own way". And boy, I love what she's done in this EP.

all original i cant decide which is the best song. the whole ep is such a masterpiece and so well written by her i can only say she is outstanding and by far the best singer of this decade and diamond is an even bigger surprise I have never experienced in my whole life that an EP only contains number 1 songs, each of the 6 songs is a hit and worthy of a Grammy, I hope that Republic Records will finally start the promo engine and it will be played on radio and TV, only KZread is not enough . The crazy thing is that she said that the EP with 6 songs is a small selection of over 100 songs that she has already written, which gives hope for the future that we will be surprised with even more beautiful songs

Every song on the EP is excellent, has its own flavor and has some very deep lyrics as well as amazing vocals.

You are adorable, and your commentary so funny so fun we all love her and she definitely has a huge following of silver haired people up into their 70s and 80s which is unheard of for a 17 year old young lady most people that age can’t stand Young music she needs more and more exposure because she is the essence of what is real new and old. The last four only have visualizers so far. BUT, of those last 4 songs, I rank 3 of them higher than this one. That should make you interested I hope. The EP consists of 6 songs, and now you have reacted to Love Don't Let Me Go and this one. I will give you my personal ranking of the 4 remaining songs, because you know that I have great taste 😁 1) Diamond 2) Good In Goodbyes 3) All My Fault 4) Fire And Rain. All these 4 songs are vastly different in style, which is really cool. She is showing off some of her diversity in a VERY tasteful way I think. She is obviously aiming for a wider (read younger) audience with the EP, which obviously is a smart move. Of course I know that you've been reacting to a LOT of rap lately, and that you went to an NF concert a few days ago, and so I also know that you recognize a BAR when you hear one. If and when you react to the last four songs, I ask you to pay attention to the lyrics, because her pen game is on fire. And her stylistic choices vocally is just unparalleled in the music industry today. There is no one like her, and it's safe to say that she is carving out, or at least reopening a path that has been overgrown and all but forgotten over the last decades. She is making her own lane, we can call it the Angelina lane. Or maybe the fast lane. The fast lane to the stars and beyond. Because that is where she belongs. Her debut album is rumored to be released towards the end of the year, and I already know that we're in for a real treat. Angelina was live in the chat when the EP released, and when she was asked by Andy Schnell ( I see him in the comments here already), she said that she has written more than 100 songs already, and that she would want nothing more than to release an album every two months...LOL We will be hearing a lot from this young girl, that's for sure. Still only 17, but that is not reflected in neither her singing nor her lyrics. I really hope to see you react to those visualizer videos, Chris. Whole EP is amazing and this probably isn't even the best song, but has the most view because it's a video. Don't get me wrong, this song could be a #1 hit too;) The whole EP will be on your playlist!

There is no one who combines vocal-fry with a vibrato except Angelina you should also listen to the text it is sensationally written by her then you will understand her movements and the facial expressions on her face

I think she's old enough to do what she wants to do and I think all of her songs are really great so I hope everyone does

She is very much more extroverted and outgoing the past year or so- she has found her self confidence and her voice outside her music, which she always had going for her.

Angelina was not able by her family request to do a album or EP until she graduated high school. She graduated this year so it could be released. Also about her hand movements she would use her hands "I Put A Spell On You"; "Feeling Good" and others, however when she would be in a contest it is like she would grip the mic, to stop herself from using her hands. It seems like she has been encouraged to use her hands. Now the next 4 songs are only audio but each one is better than the last, and the last one is my favorite. I like to read the lyrics of a Angelina song first, because lyrics are important to me. I know she will sacrifice diction to get the flow she wants. So I read the lyrics first then I always know what she is singing. Please do the rest of the EP each one is great.

If you rewatch “I Put a Spell on You” she is just as animated and she has always been able to emote, even when she was reserved, she still emotes on a very high level.

True. She is very animated in I Put a Spell In You. She is emotive in Million Miles. She dances a bit in 7th Heaven. Yes she moves more in Now I’m the Fool than any other song but I also think her past movements has to do with the song and what she is try to say and not just to add unnecessary flash. Also check out that last run at rhe end of Feeling Good when she was only 10.

I had the same thought. She's slowly coming back to the spirit of "I Put A Spell On You". Her true self. Fearless, confident in her talent, increasingly detached from the uncertainties of adolescence, free as she was then. Loving to sing and eager to show it. "Who loves me, follows me".

This is like her entire EP, a beautiful showcase of Angelina's generational talent for writing, singing and performing her music. Her performance in this piece is beautifully done, complimenting her gorgeous voice. Watch those graceful and very expressive hands of hers, as she shoos away some idiot who didn't appreciate what he had when he had her (Ha! to die for). She is such an amazing person in the whole. All I want is to hear more.

Think again about "I put a spell on you" and also when she performed at a open air concert of hers "I'm feeling good". Another thing, she always love to use her hands when she sings at home. Angelina don't needs any thing more.

FIRST, bout fricken time...which means l miss your reactions to my girl. Don't stay a stranger. I think the rasp vibrato on the word time, is showing an example of short passing, aka/ time... when we say she did this or that by instinct rather than intension, know this, she is always unregrettably intensional. Great observation!!! Oh, also, the rest of her EP( speaking retro) is 70's Soul, meets Hip Hop structure...so in her first two is straight up 60's old school, then she brings that chemistry in a very updated structure...one of her songs has a strong 90's Lauryn Hill/ Fiji's sound. You gotta react to them all..... recommend you start with " Good in Goodbyes".

Hi hello👋 good to see this react. If you have not heard the EP, they’re all so awesome. Of course a great voice, but her songwriting is amazing. We’re just reminding our reactors 😉 remember the Jazz Queen. ❤ Love the breakdown! I also love how she inspires the imagination. The lower enunciation is style and to carry the sound in different ways. Oh yeh perfect dinner and dance music.

AJ's attitude and physical performance style has caught up with her brilliant vocals. What else can you say? Really interested in your take on "Good in Goodbyes" and "Diamond" as AJ moves into the late 70's and 90's.

OOHH, I forgot, Miss Angelina was asked how many song she´s written in her life? Answer: over a HUNDRED songs.

Indeed Angelina is much more animated in this video than in any of her earlier videos. She is older and I am sure has a performance coach AND she is singing her own songs. This song DOES have a retro vibe to it BUT the last 4 songs on her "Old Enough" EP combine many eras and genres to create her OWN genre and sound. Can't wait for you to react to them.

Nice reaction. Angelina is still not quite an adult . She is still just 17 and since the songs on the EP were complete by at least March it’s safe to assume that she may have still been 16 when she recorded these vocals. Regarding more animation in her videos I don’t necessarily agree. Some artists may need that to hide the fact that there isn’t much substance there. The focus is her voice although she does have videos with more activity like Million Miles, 7th Heaven and even Love Don’t Let Me Go. Regarding her dropping off consonants there are some reactors and vocal coaches who like that. Everyone has different tastes. Some have said it’s part of a jazz style. Angelina had said that the album would have a 60s retro vibe Which it certainly does

I completely agree about being more animated. With vocals and the natural way she uses her hands, facial expressions, and body language to help convey the lyrics and emotions of the songs, she does NOT need all the fancy pyrotechnics, choreographed dancing, scanty clothing, or other special effects to draw and hold the attention of a mega-number of fans to any venue.

Ahe got some EARTHA KITT sass now.

I've said it before on another channel and I'll say it again here, Chris. This kid has Bond girl written all over her.

OK, first off. Angelina is 17 here. I personally don’t think a 17 year old girl is a woman yet. She’s still a teenager. Secondly, I think the powers that be were the ones keeping her from being more animated up until this point. Watch her performances at the outdoor Norwegian Concert with a jazz band at age eleven. She was getting into the music and moving all over. That whole concert was fantastic! You should watch and listen to the Old Enough EP in order to get the full effect. This was the second song, and maybe you’ve already seen the first one, Love Don’t Let Me Go. They just keep getting better. You will love them all!

Some singers seem to not know what to do with their hands and hand gestures while they are singing. In this song, Angelina just nails it. All of her hand gestures and facial expressions are perfectly in sync with the lyrics, her voice, and the background music. I don't think that it is possible for her or anyone to improve upon this performance. I would love to know how long she had to practice the hand gestures and facial expressions to get this excellent result. Did she do it in a single take, or twenty takes? I'm guessing only 3 - 4 takes.

Through her EP she do show different type of music. All her other songs have no videos (yet, will come), but is worth the listen. My favorites now is Fire and rain, diamond or Good in goodbyes (still is hard to rank them). I hope you react to them and dont wait until videos come out. It will show you where her music goes, probably to get to younger generations. Love from Norway!

Here's the thing. This is Angelina's lane for the time being. Everything in the past, as wonderful as her performances were, are just a buildup to this moment where Angelina is saying. "This is who I am and this is how I sound." We, as humans, are a visual species, so I get where you might want more visual stimulation. There are plenty of artists out there that will give you that. But this is all about sound. You called her little nuances "tricks." They are not tricks - they are tools that she uses, and Angelina has more tools in her toolbox than anybody out there. You won't like the remaining tracks, because there are no videos.

Her parents said that she only could start her career fulltime after finishing school, hence until she's "old enough". The whole KZread stuff with the covers was just a prelude ...

From the first time I saw her as a little kid I had the sudden impression of a reincarnated Amy Winehart.

Hello Harry. Great reactions and analysis, but you must look after the equalization (of your mic and the video) so that your voice doesn't burst our eardrums during the song. Actually Chris...I think most of us do not ever want to see her fall into that trap of suggestive clothing, scantily clad dancers, or any of that overproduced stuff many singers use, generally to distract you from maybe a lack of real talent....this here is all Angelina needs to do....the vocals are the cinematic part of the performance...not suggesting that is what you meant by "cinematic" but her talent needs no dressing up.
