Angelina is the best of all time, male and female, and as for her humanity, well not enough can be said.

Thanks for the reaction to Angelina. It has been said that she recorded this song because someone had commented that she couldn't sing the high notes. She proved them wrong with bells on". For me her performance is far more emotional than Whitney.

I am seeing comments that she's not a Whitney, so I just listened to Whitney's version. Wuite honestly I preferred Angelina's version. She sings with real emotion and there is so much texture in her voice. She becomes the song. Its more than just belting out lyrics. The fact that she was only 12 or 13 makes it even more amazing. Her ability to sing so many different genre's with a several octave vocal range makes her pne of the most versatile singers around today.

She sang it Angelina's way. Not trying to be Whitney. Both singers have done an excellent job - their way!
Guess I'm swimming against the tide of opinion, but I don't like this version. It's OK though. Her voice just isn't up to the challange. On the plus side, it's made me want to watch The Bodyguard tonight.

No one can sing it like Whitney. I'm just guessing, but I think it was around the time Angelina met and sang for Quincy Jones. Maybe he suggested she try it, or maybe she wanted to sing something out of her comfort zone. Her natural tempo is much slower and her style is jazz. She won Norway's got Talent age 7 singing Billie Holiday's Gloomy Sunday. I love the Bodyguard too!!!!!!!!!
