She is beautiful, the song is beautiful, and her singing is out of this world. We are truly blessed, and I think you feel blessed too. Other than that, I wish I could have been at every event when she performed. That would be, and is, my idea of heaven.

What makes Angelina stand above the rest is her ability to make you feel her music. So many talented singers out there can sing the song but they lack the ability to make you feel the pain she has in her performances.

Well, I don't know how you'll be able to get back to 😴 for a while.. and when you, it'll be with a huge 😁 on your face, my Friend... I'm positive Mom would've fallen in love with Angelina's rendition... IMO, better than the original singer... It makes all the difference in the world when genuine emotion & masterful musicality are the foundation of a performance... I stand by my belief that while she easily demonstrated she can belt, she has the ARTISTRY to know that you don't have to belt your way through a song... Not when the artist is fully endowed with every ornament, technique & the understanding of lyrical interpretation... At her last concert on July 10th 2022 in Norway, when Angelina told why she sings this song and dedicated it to her grandmother Mery Zamani (her grandma was sick and couldn't accompany Angelina on the trip to Norway and both were very sad), I understand this song completely differently whenever I hear the line "Don't you dare walk away from me". 👣💯 *AJ* 💯 👣

She starts with a strategic pause. She's used that in a few songs and it's very effective. 16 years old here. That is so smooth. I believe she did this when she returned from her Norway concerts last summer. It's the same dress she wore then. So glamorous and beautiful. This was so good, belted those high ranges with little apparent effort. Good reaction.

I love AJ's lower register where sings very expressively. I love her mid and head voice hear where she sings and belts very expressively. Last summer , in her version of Mt. Everest, she show us her even higher falsetto; where she sings and wails very expressively, trading licks with a blues guitar solo. I've heard her sing with a cold and voice was cracking expressively. No matter what of her thousand voices she uses, the joy is the expression that comes from her warm heart and soul. A lot of musicians today forget that and, despite displaying tons of skill, leave me cold for the lack of heart in their performances. With AJ you always sense the love she has for her music and the compassion she has for her listeners.

The joy I felt when I heard Angelina the first time (Summertime), I just burst out “Ella”!, and my host (a jazz musician) was so excited to show me her performances. It has been such a pleasure to see, and hear, her grow up; just a wonderful gift!

It's likely on your list, but when you get to Million Miles (do the live studio version) we will all remember our passed ones as we listen with you remembering your mum and AJ remembering her grandfather. Better and better and better. I'm proud to be called an Angel but my 8th grade teacher (Sister Mary Bealzabub) wouldn't have used that name on me.

Even with all the things you've heard from her so far, you've really only "scratched the surface" when it comes to the great variety of singing styles (a.k.a., "voices") that she has shown us over the years (and also the great variety of types of videos of her that are out there). So far your selections have skewed heavily towards her younger stuff (almost half of the videos being from when she was 8 or almost 8) and performances she did on TV (~60%) and in the studio (~25%). While I have no real complaints about any of that, I just want to point out how much "context" you're still missing.🙂 For example, you haven't yet heard any of her Amy Winehouse or Adele covers, which are, to say the least, "iconic" ("legendary" is another word that comes to mind). You haven't heard any of her originals. You've only seen one thing she recorded at home (HGTA). And only one thing that I would count as "live in concert" (i.e., done only for a live audience, not for TV or radio broadcast). And you haven't seen _any_ "behind-the-scenes" type videos (of which there are literally _hundreds_ - from rehearsals, recording sessions, charity events, "home movies", etc. - including at least a dozen that I would say are highly reaction-worthy). Nor any "proper interviews" with her (although you've heard her speak in two short pre-song interviews from when she was 8). Nor any of her TikToks or Instagrams, where she's just singing into her cell phone… These are some _major_ categories of AJ videos you're either completely missing at this point or have only lightly touched upon. I say all of this not as a criticism, but… well, I guess just to suggest some things to "look out for" in the recommendations you've already gotten (but haven't reacted to yet), and/or types of recommendations you might want to ask for in future videos.
