This girl is beyond amazing. Anyone who knows Etta James and her rendition of this song also knows her recording was unbelievably special. Now we take a young Norwegian girl who decides on a spur of the moment performance in her home as she's sitting on a sofa. The result is a performance that would have garnered her a standing ovation at The Apollo Theater, where the toughest 'Black Soul' critics on the planet reside. Her vocal rasp and fry are just sensational !

I think this is Angelina experimenting with her use of vocal fry. The experiment was a success, IMO, & she had it turned up to an 11 the whole time. Just a 12 yo playing with her new mic she got for her birthday, while sitting on the couch singing to a karaoke track. This is her play time!!!

The GOAT in my opinion also. 'I’d Rather Go Blind' I saw Cadillac Records and Beyoncé killed that song. How old was she in that? Angelina was 12 here got the mic for her birthday and what an investment. Here is Angelina, just sitting, sitting on the couch singing into the mic backwards, purposely or not and belting out the best rendition I have ever heard. I was instantly transported back to 1968 when I was 13. That was at the very height of Motown probably my favorite period in music. That music was magical. Angelina could have been born in '56 and she would have been one of best Motown Artists of the time in '68 and doing it at 12 yrs old. I can guarantee Angelina picked out that mic and again what a choice. And now you see her very recently doing one of her best renditions of Adele's new song which she did on Tic-Toc from what I heard was about 12 hrs after it's release. Followed by this studio version and yes she has now equalled all of the greatest artists of all time. The GOAT! And she's only 16! 16! The Music Industry isn't prepared for what is coming. Not sure I am. I feel like the luckiest man in the world to be able to watch this young phenom grow up in front of our eyes and I only hoped on this train about 2 yrs ago. Unfortunately I won't be here to see the peak of her career, and that will be sad. Oh, what I wouldn't give to be 16 again and have a chance to see it all. ♥👣👸🏻🎷 I loved your reaction and I will be watching.
