YESSS!!! Here she is, my favorite winner of all "Got Talent" winners around the globe, my "Champion of Champions!" Thanks so much for reacting to this. I nearly cried because watching you guys was like discovering her for the first time again. I occasionally put her in my earphones while I go to sleep. I think all of her auditions were great, particularly "Summertime" and "Bang Bang"... and her most STUNNING one after the competition: "I Put a Spell on You." I also love her singing "What a Wonderful World" a cappella while in her home. Things I remember learning about her - there's some story why she always sings barefoot, which I haven't researched yet. She's written a book (!) that might explain it. At this age, it was said she hardly knew any English and was singing those lyrics purely phonetically! This type of music was around in the house and so she just imitated its sounds, which might explain how in the world she captures the nuances of Louis Armstrong. I have to admit I haven't been as enchanted by her more recent songs, perhaps because I don't hear as much jazz from her. But maybe I need to explore more and I do like "Stay" quite a bit. But when she sings jazz again (e.g., "When You're Smiling") you can clearly hear she's back in her element. (Edit: I've been exploring and have found some fantastic non-jazz songs by Angelina! She is currently 13 (8 in this performance) - She began singing at the age of one and a half - At 2 or 3 she discovered Jazz through KZread videos and studied all the greats from Jazz history. - Angelina always sings barefoot..... When Angelina was 6, she was traveling and met a poor girl with no shoes trying to make money on the streets. The girl complimented her on her pretty shoes, so Angelina took them off and gave them to the girl. She made a vow to always sing barefoot until all the children of the world have shoes. To this day, whenever Angelina is performing in public she is barefoot. (that's a shortened version. the full story is more touching than the way I have told it here) - She has always been the driving force behind her own singing career. It was her that asked her mother to take her to Norways Got Talent, where she auditioned at 7 years old and went on to win the show at just 8 years old. - In an interview after the show, when asked what she was going to do with the money, the 8 year old replied "I would like to give it to orphans that need clothes and shoes" - The reason you may not have heard of her is because her parents are very protective of her childhood. They do not want her to be thrust into stardom before she has a chance to grow up as a normal child, and finish her education. They allow her to do a few select shows (mainly private and charity events) with a couple public shows every year when she is out of school. I have loved Angelina ever since I saw her perform "I Put a Spell on You". She has grown even more as an artist and you should check out her singing "A Million Years Ago" or "Born to Die", among others. Her voice is so unique. Great reaction by the way.

Unlike the other talented young singers, Angelina has a very extensive catalog of songs (over 100) that will keep you busy for quite some time. Enjoy the journey. just a little tid bit of information regarding your comment about having to learn how to sing that style of music. When Natalie Cole went back into this kind of music (the time she did the Duet with her father on the screen) she had talked about having to relearn how to sing this type of music and she was an outstanding vocalist with years of singing under her belt.That is what just blows me away about Angelina..it is what makes her so unique. She is singing music that is far more difficult to sing. You really have to have a musical background to understand her gift. She is not copying a singer, she is performing these songs with her own interpretation, with feeling and with her own style already (8 years old). She just has IT. Amazing

The first ones were NOT what she did on Norways got talent. What made this kid fall in love with this type of music was her grandmother. By the time this was recorded she had learnt 3 languages, had a repetoire of hundreds of songs, could play 3 instruments, and was the youngest person to be a published author of a book in Norways history. Prodigies are too young to had time to learn... but they know. Angelina is in the Top 5 prodigies. She appeared at 7 years old at NGT.
