"I'm Still Holding Out For You" is my favorite by Angelina phenomenal maturity in her voice at age ten 🌹💝

This is probably Lana Del Rey's most popular song (it reached #9 on the pop chart, and it has almost half a Billion views on KZread). It is a very hard song to sing (with all the words in the low register, it's very hard to maintain breath control and not be pitchy), and Lana's version is excellent! Until Angelina, I don't believe any covers measured up to Lana's original. Now look what Angelina has done with this song. It is a MASTERPIECE!! I've probably heard it over a 100 times, and I continue to be amazed. I rank this in the top 10 of Angelina's covers, and we all know that she doesn't have any bad ones. There is no limit for Angelina. Even not heaven. That must be where she came from. I have given up trying to understand where the voice come from. What I know is that it is going straight to my heart. I will keep it there.

You know, she is so very versatile, so much so that I hate to see a record company get their hands on her - I know my idea is fantasy but I would really like to 4 or 5 popular jazz and pop singers get together and sponsor her training and creativity for another 5 years or so. 12 year old. This year Angelina gave us so much joy as she started use this home studio of hers, as she got this new mic, probably for her birthday that year (2018). So many great cover songs came from her like this one, and from many different genres. 2018 was also the year she released her great CD album "It`s Magic". No titel could be better than that for her Jazzy album, I think. And that year she even got to perform at the great Quincy Jones great consert in London, as he celebrated his 85th birthday. Yes she can do anything, and her adaptations are stellar. Her musicality makes her the MOZART OF THE VOICE.

In my opinion, where Angelina really shines the most is when she sings with just a guitar to accompany her. Of that collection, my favorites are "A Million Years Ago" (Adele), "Stay" (Rihanna), and "Wake Me Up" (Aviccii). With those, just like "Born To Die", you really get to feel the lyrics for the first time as Angelina sings them.

Over the past 18 months or so I've fallen in love the voices of two women with very different skill sets.....Angelina and Tatiana of the band Jinjer...both have been a blessing during these screwed up times.

This is my favorite cover by Angelina. I think you were trying to describe her vibrato. This video really shows it off. This is my favorite tone of hers. Her deep range is so mellow and hypnotic. Having listened to all of Angelina's songs for years, I would add the audio only version of Its A Man's World & All Of Me, the John Legend song.

This was the first song I heard by her. Didn't know her at all. That first note... jaw hit the ground. How? What? I was gobsmacked. PS Great reaction!

While we all wait for her new album to drop, you should check out her 2018 album "It's Magic" recorded when she was 11 & released at 12. Since she appeared on AGT-C I heard it has become the #1 selling jazz album. It's with a Big Band (Norway Military Band), which is not my favorite backing for her voice, but it is still amazing.

I didn't know Lana Del Ray before. After listening to Angelina's cover, I looked up Lana's music video on YT. I actually enjoyed the video. It's high quality, Visually enchanting. However, I have to say I didn't like Lana's rendition as much. Mostly flat and uninteresting emotionally. Maybe it's good, but Angelina's cover has spoiled me. She sets such a high standard.

Lana is a construct, and a package. You buy into it, or you don't. That is not a criticism, though, as I rather like her disregard for pop 'authenticity'. However, it is not really about the voice with Lana, it is the insouciant attitude, the iconography, and the 'knowing' trash aesthetic. With Angelina, or course, it is about the voice, but the voice alone would not win her so many fans. It is the charm, the warmth, and how she connects that makes her super-special.

It was a great version, surprisingly young Angelina came the closest to replicate it's beauty, but Lana's voice cannot be copied. Lana sounds like she sings through centuries.
