This incredible young singer has the ability to very often move me to tears with her voice. It's an involuntary reflex and Angelina when she sings has found that button to push. I try to let her push that button as often as I can.

Angelina can sing the high notes with the best of them if a song requires it, but she doesn't do it to impress, like so many others. But the tone & richness of her low notes is her "sweet" spot, & man is it sweet vocal candy. Greetings from the Hamptons of NY State.

Great reaction as always. She is so good that I believe she will rewrite Music History and become a Music Legend. Nobody can emit the emotion and soul of a song like Angelina. I think she reads the lyrics first before listening to the song. In this way she can understand the feeling and emotion the artist wants to convey. Then she arranges it to be able to dramatically convey the feeling and emotion to us. She takes iconic songs and makes them Angelina songs. Her vocals, tones and smokiness do the rest. She is already The Greatest of All Time! Just amazing!!

Angelina has been born with something in her voice that is almost totally unique. Certain voices and certain sounds have been proven to cause strange effects on people who are somehow sensitive to those sounds or voices. Angelina's voice has a peculiar way of going beyond the normal channels many if not most people process what is going into their ears. Directly from the listener's ears to the brain's limbic system which is responsible for behavioral and emotional responses. We almost always get real physical reactions from her voice, and yes sometimes from others as well, however she can keep the goosebumps going song after song and as long as she wants. Sure, we can compare her voice to dozens of others, but none reach directly into us to produce the feelings we get when Angelina performs. This is known as autonomous sensory meridian response, or ASMR.

Angelina is simply stunning, a musical genius, and this cover is one of her absolutely best (another highlight is 'I am still holding out for you') PS: Elizabeth Grant is actually Lana del Rey's real name :-) she wrote the song. Lana is also a musical genius, very different one. She is an amazing lyricist and composer of melodies, and her personality and dark voice is not only for everyone who is heartbroken and hates happy songs....

This girl is so young, and she hasn't really started yet. When she do, I hope that the younger ones recognizes greatness when they hear it. Every time she brings tears in my eyes cause it is so beautiful. Angelina Jordan ASTAR (the name says it all), this young norwegian genius is imo the best singer on the planet! I am 69 y old and have never heard a singer like her in my whole life. Her voice touches my heart and cleanses my soul.

When they first released this video, there were accusations that it wasn’t her singing because the pop filter was hiding her mouth. After this, you will note that they always videoed her with this kind of filter from the side so you could see that she is actually singing! I’d say she’s about 12 here. One of my favorites!

Yes, I will always remember the bewilderment of two Reactors, although I have forgotten their names. One stood up and tried to peer Oliver Angelina head to see whether she was singing. The other said it couldn't be true and later uploaded the same video, but had reduced the opacity of the pop filter so that he could see Angelina's moth. Oh! I should mention that at the time they were relatively new to the magic of Angelina.

10:50am Northwest Ohio farm country. Your amazement of Angelina is why you are one of my favorite reactors. The rich detail with which Angelina sings is mind boggling. I can listen to a song many times over a hear something new each time. Also, the clarity of her lyrics is as well a treat even with English not being her natives tongue. As a keen observer of music as you are, will the listening public recognize and realize how special and unique her sound and talent is? A little known gem of Angelina's is LOVIN YOU performed with a live band about the age of 11 or 12. There is a video that's much better than the other, you've got to find the best recording. The little gal can boogie!

I noticed that your playlist is missing the songs: “All I ask” by Adele, and “You are always on my mind” dedicated to her grandfather who had just passed away a few days before singing the song. It’s a very emotional but beautiful song! She is an angel!!

I think a lot of people think the title refers to the inevitability of death, but I have seen comments that the song is really about a relationship (you and I/we) that was doomed from the start (born to die). It makes a lot of sense if you listen to the lyrics.

I don't think Angelina would or could ever be on The Voice because of the tie-in between The Voice and Republic Records, and Angelina signed with Republic Records back in 2020. However, I wouldn't be surprised if she turned up as a guest artist on the show at some point after her big breakout album drops.
