Angelina is Angelina and you want to demean that by suggesting some mythical entity has some say in it. Fine so tell me which of the 2,000 plus deities that supposedly exist in this world had a hand in this little girls singing.

There’s nothing more heart warming than a happy child.

In the studio SHE'S the boss. She knows her stuff. Amazing little girl!

She's a smasher she really is, every little apprehensive look and yet so confident mum can't believe it neither can the band . 😊

I'm 73, I'm glad I got to see and hear her in my life time. Jazz lives on!

Born to provide us with music on a level we have never experienced before.

🌼🎵🧡🎶💛What a fun session, I love it! I love the informality of the session, the talk between, and seeing all the musicians around Angelina as well as her mom, with, I assume, Mery on the video camera!

my life is different and better now that I know this amazing human being exists... I can't get enough of her voice. She is clearly an old soul ... not a "kid star" ...she is something entirely different, and to hear her means to never ever be able to forget her.. I share her videos with everyone I know so they don't have to be deprived of the joy of listening to her !!!!

I get stunned to ponder what she must know about music to do that. In one of her early videos she writes a long note and gives it to the mixer. The confidence she has to do that. She takes lessons in piano and flute, and she was strumming a guitar in one video.

At :20 look at the second clarinetest smiling and nodding as if to say: "yup, she's that good!" Then at about 2:44, look at the conductor turn her way, smile and shake his head." After her performance, notice how the band applauded her.....I think those are all good indicators of how fortunate they feel to play with her.

Most kids of her age can't even sit still more than 20 seconds on a piece. She controls and commands her drift and way of interpretation of any song, sometimes five people sometimes an entire band of 35 musicians. And not ever getting nervous.

She's great, we all know that, so let me just point out that the musicians in the band are really _very_ good!

@@103mrg I believe you're right. This band is such a good match for Angelina. My favourite of all the bands she's played with by far. Egil and Ivan are also a perfect match for her. The orchestra in her 'Back to Black' cover were super as well! They're all pretty amazing! Angelina's talent is mind blowing... 👏😲💖

What a treat to see Angelina practicing a such difficult song. Yet she asks questions respectfully. But pointing to the way to do it. A treasure to enjoy. Her tone of voice is impacting.

Awesome! And we must remember, a good number of these gems are only available because her grandmother recorded them on a phone or video camera. They may not be perfect quality, but I am extremely happy she recorded and posted them. More treasures for us to enjoy!

I'm so thankful to my Heavenly Father for giving me this once in a lifetime chance to see someone come along who is the whole package. I pray that she keeps the sweet personality that she has.

Angelina WON America’s Got Talent, at least in my humble opinion. Bohemian Rhapsody was a glimpse of other-world talent. I’m so glad she found this band and especially this fantastic piano player who backs her during her latest performances. What a phenom! What a voice. What a sweet angel. Amen to that! She is really amazing, the next Christina and then some. Her parents are doing it right. Instead of caving in to the Cowell, AGT machine's restrictive contract, (AGT uses "super fans" to control who wins, you don't sign you don't win). If she would have signed she would have won AGT and would be under contract to Cowell. That hasn't worked out too well for most of the AGT Winners. Instead, she finished in the back half but, as far as I have been able to tell, her 3 AGT songs have more likes and views than anyone she was up against. Please correct me if I am wrong. I know she got massive exposure from that show and the incredible 3 songs she covered in her unique style and signed a lucrative deal with Republic Records. Angelina re-released Bohemian Rhapsody under her own copyright. She not only has the voice of an angel but she has a very old soul. She does all of her arrangements and is incredibly creative. Many of her songs are so heartfelt and delivered with passion and control that are beyond her years. She also plays piano, violin, and a few others. Also as I understand it, she is the youngest person to author a book in Norway. I am also told that she is an incredible artist (paintings and drawings) and this one I need to check on but I am told that at age 15 she can speak 9 languages. If that is true it is amazing. Well, maybe not for her. One thing is for sure, her English is flawless. For the love of music, I pray that God continues to shine on this little angel and keep her away from the drugs and alcohol that have plagued so many others. Amy Winehouse comes to mind. Granted she had a problem before she met Blake but there is no doubt that he was the one who got her on heroin which she needed like a GSW to the head. Heroin will kill you all the same just slower and it will drag you through hell first until there is nothing left. You couple that with raging alcoholism, an obviously damaged psyche, and enablers and hangers-on all over the place and you end up with another member of the 27-club. Even her parents didn't seem to give a $#!^ about her. It is pretty obvious from her concert footage that she was a mess. Her parents attended a lot of them. Unfortunately, no one cared enough to do anything to help her and I am certain that Amy was lost in the fog of her own mind. From what I understand Amy's record company wanted her to go to rehab as part of the contract but her father talked them out of it and after she turned it into a #1 song well that was the last time they tried to help her. So to Angelina, I say keep following your dream but always be guarded and stay away from drugs and alcohol. Keep yourself grounded and protect your voice and lungs. Don't smoke to vape anything. And to Mr. and Mis. Astar, thank you for bringing this little barefooted angle into our lives and for giving her the love for music and Jazz. She really is A-star Sorry for the pun. But seriously great job.

How tremendously blessed and fortunate we are that Grandma Mery has been around to document just about every performance and public appearance that Angelina has made. I think this has a lot to do with how endeared she is to us. It's like we have been there watching her grow up from a little bitty tyke into the phenomenal, statuesque, wonderfu,l human being and phenomenal entertainer that she is today of course, she's always been a phenomenal entertainer! I mean I'm guessing she's about 10 years old here and listen to that VOICE!

Strange Combo: Jazz Band and a little girl. But all I see is a group of passionated musicians sharing their love for Jazz. All the best, Angelina! Keep it going. You have a special superpower.

I agree with all the superlatives here. Just a gentle reminder that this is not a jazz number. This is pure blues. It’s an important distinction to me because, along with Lovin’ You (that I can think of), it proves her mastery of yet another genre that was meant for old souls. This is a practice, but I would love to see a finished version of the song, with her fully able to completely inhabit it the way she always does for live or studio recordings. It’s asking an awful lot of a preteen to fully capture the essence of a blues standard, but anyone who has heard the 9-year old Angelina sing I Put a Spell on You (more R&B but written by the same Screamin’ Jay Hawkins), knows that it is not asking too much of her.

What an artist. Always gold. Always was.

I love Angelina in so many ways, I just can't explain them all. but seeing these amazing seasoned and accomplished musicians accompanying her with such respect, just says it all :) Fan forever!!!!

She is once in a lifetime kind of talented. I e stopped trying out o wrap my head around what she able to to do, and it’s not even just that she’s young, she’s just that phenomenal. Does anyone by any chance know the name of the guy playing the saxophone?

Kudos to the band ... all deserve credits, at the very least ...

I know her mother sitting there is so proud of her daughter. I know I would be.

Angelina is showing keen interest in how the sound is being produced on the mix board, amplifier etc. So much further beyond her contemporaries in crafting the sound to her expectations of how it should be heard. Kudos to her Mom for letting this phenom develop her potential and creative expressionism as she makes each lyric her own.

I hope Angelina finalizes this song and performs it on youtube. It reveals her powerful voice and soul! And the lyrics so poignant.

Wow, Norwegian jazz. I never knew. And a child, no less.

You don't follow modern jazz, that's for sure :) The list is loooong. A few names include Nils Petter Molvaer, Bugge Wesseltoft, Sidsel Endresen, Jaga Jazzist, Eivind Aarset, and Mathias Eick.

Just one word is needed to describe this most talented little girl; and that word is Awesome. She is such a delight to listen to time and time again. I have been a fan since her Billy Holiday and Frank Sinatra covers, and her version of I put a spell on you is beyond compare.

Oh god. Little girl rules the whole group. Very talented

You never want to steal the spotlight from Angelina at all but her fans are your fans too and I would like to see some interviews with you about your experiences behind the scenes and maybe talking about your musical influences and maybe an excursion into your art.

It isn't. She is confident, her parents are cuddling her holding her back rather than pushing her for money. The Hollywood types, if they are smart, will see they need her, she doesn't need them. Music is made all over the globe.

The musician at the piano, I think he is one of the musicians in a video that just has Angelina and the band in such great timing to vocals and the band's just "chiming in on cue to heighten the impact of her vocal performance."

Initially, I watched a "reaction video" of you singing this song. Then, I went and listened to the original by Screaming Jay Hawkings singing "Portrait of a Man". You are an incredible young lady. Even arranging the song on the go. There is no limit to your talent(s). No wonder I have been addicted to you since your NGT audition. God Bless you, guide you, and protect you. Amen!

Ten or nine years old at the time of recording and looking happy singing jazz. Bliss!!!!

How blessed we are to have such an amazing talent in our lives. It is almost unbelievable how she can do all the truly amazing vocal things she des on note moves and word modifications and do it all in time whether it is jazz, blues, a ballad or face it...anything she cares to caress with her magical voice and emotional presence. Even if she has a fantastic coach who "feeds" her all these things to do she does the impossible for one so young. Even seasoned singers in their 20's or 30's given the same instructions would have difficulty bringing it off as she does...doubtful many could come close. AND, Angelina does it with such seemingly effortless grace. A MARVEL. What Al Jolson use to say, "You ain't seen nothin' yet!" Can hardly wait to see her storm the musical world.

You can't teach what she has; you can only help her release it; find out what she needs to produce the mood and emotion.
