In your musical world it’s Dimash, in others musical world it would be Angelina Jordan. My point being it’s a choice everyone is free to make. You’re within your right to express your opinion, although it may differ from everyone else.

She has been singing publicly since the age of 7. One of the earliest videos is of her singing in a recording studio was at the age of 6. Believe me, there is no other singer like her. Simon Cowell remarked he had never heard this version before,and he was right because Angelina rewrote it for the performance. She took the words of the lyrics she wished to use and then rearranged them, and then rearranged the music, until she was sure that both truly reflected what she wanted to achieve in her performance. I found it hauntingly beautiful. I am delighted that you have discovered the most versatile singer living today. If you continue to react to her many performances, and I hope you do, you are in for many pleasurable hours of excellent performances and your life will be changed for ever I have listened to everything she has published on KZread and have often been surprised at her versatility - she can sing Blues, Country, Disco, Jazz,Pop, R&B and Soul, and Rock - but never disappointed by her performance. Listening to Angelina perform is an emotional experience in itself. In an imaginative moment I likened Angelina to a chameleon, inasmuch as a chameleon adapts its colour to blend with the surroundings, so Angelina adapts the "colour" of her voice to convey the emotions of the song and communicate those emotions to the listener. Congrats on discovering a future legend. This is just the tip of the iceberg with Angelina. She has been singing at pro level since she was 7 and has done a ton of great vocals in the years since. She has so many videos that are going to amaze you and give you those goosebumps. ...and because Angelina is new to you and maybe some of your followers, I always have to share this little bio so you can learn a little about what a kind and caring soul she is... *Angelina Jordan* - Angelina Jordan was born Jan 10 2006 in Oslo, Norway. She is currently 14 - She began singing at the age of one and a half - At 2 or 3 she discovered Jazz through her grandmother and started studying all the greats from Jazz history with youtube videos. - *Why Angelina always sings barefoot* - When Angelina was 6 years old, she was traveling with her grandmother and met a poor girl with no shoes trying to make money on the streets. They talked for a while and discussed their dreams. It was cold and the girl had scars on her feet. Seeing this, Angelina took off her shoes and gave them to the girl. The girl thanked her and told Angelina she would pray for her every day. That day Angelina made a vow to always sing barefoot until all the children of the world could have shoes. They do not want her to be thrust into stardom before she has a chance to grow up as a normal child, and finish her education. @YouSurf 2 She was not waiting until the finals. There were only half finals and one final. In every final two contestants were send to the final, the golden buzzer en the one who was voted by the special people in the audience, representing the 50 states.

Hi there. Angelina is already a star. 120 covers and 5 original songs. Her voice is liquid gold. Powerful yet unique in the lower registet. I suggest you live performances. Angelina has been my favorite singer since I first heard her nearly 3 years ago. As others have said she has a ton of songs she has covered (reinterpreted) & 5 originals, 3 written by her at 11-12, & 2 written for her. Everything she sings is liquid gold. Her emotive skills are unmatched & somehow she makes you feel like you are hearing a song for the first time, even when it is a classic song that you have heard many times before. I have a physiological reaction to her voice by getting goosebumps almost every time she sings & her sad songs make me cry. I don't know why, it just happens. I call her the "Angel of 1000 Voices" because she uses a different voice to match a particular song & if you listened to her many songs blindfolded, you would swear there were many different singers covering them. She can go high, she can go low, very low. She can do power that will blow your socks off & she can go soft to melt your heart. She can go velvet smooth or she can go raspy with lots of vocal fry. Her melismas & vibrato are amazing & vocal teachers have said she plays her voice like an orchestra. She is best with a minimal acoustic guitar or piano backing (almost a capella) keeping time while she adds all her vocal ornaments as she feels them. When she sings she says she goes to a beautiful place in her mind where the music lies, her eyes roll back in her head or they close while she is there. When she finishes you can see her come back to reality where she is a shy young girl who is giggling & waving bye. It's astonishing!!! I subscribed & gave you a thumbs up in the hopes you will do many more reactions of her.

I have been following Angelina for a few years now. And this is a very small tip of a huge iceberg. This gifted young lady has had a natural ability to whisk you away to any world she wishes and has been able to since she was 7. WARNING: She is a drug and you will get hooked. Agreed--she has worked on her craft and plows through many different musicians on her path to vocal perfection.

You have a very pretty smile.That was a very nice reaction to Angelina. History was made, If anyone's brave enough to do this song, in her rendition of the song & they'll be compared to her, for it's her song now. Think of it , she took a iconic classic rock opera & stripped it down & turned it into a jazzy/bluesy soulful ballad at age 13. Please support her music, CD's, iTunes, ect.. Put her on your playlist...To help keep the Hollyweird cult away from getting their claws into her. So many (even Disney) producers have been trying to get her to sign with them. Her & her mom just tell them no, (she wants to finish school 1st). They would just ruin her & spit her out once they made their money off of her. Her family is very protective of her, they even formed a production co. for her (Angelina Jordan inc.) She's a talent that comes by once in a lifetime maybe once every hundred years. Angie is music. She can do any genre & sound better than most originals & she's still very young too. She’s 14 as of 1-10-20. She made her outfit using the pattern of an artwork, from her grandmother's She makes several of her outfits too. A God given voice & talent. Its not very often we find a real singer, one who has a voice, one who gives it all they have when they sing. She does. But we all have our gifts and talents and some can't see it because they are not looking hard enough. Perhaps the word passion says it all. She has the passion to share her gift and does. But what I like is not just her singing but what really matters and that is her heart. That is what God loves, our heart. She is not wearing shoes when she preforms touches my heart. All because she met a girl who did not have shoes and she gave the girl her shoes. She said she would never wears shoes when on stage until every child had shoes to wear. That is what touched me the most. I dream that one day as Christians we will all sing, but our singing will always be to give the glory to God. Sing, dance, instruments, but most of all its a way for every soul to connect with each other, that is my dream. thanks for sharing the video.

Congrats to find the voice that many listen every day, can’t get tired or get enough of it.

She maybe 13 but she has grown to 6'0" tall. She does her own arrangements for her songs. She picks them and decides how she is going to sing them then writes the changes. But it is her voice and how she uses it that are the stars of the show. She is still finding out what her voice can do. The runs that are prominent in this song, I haven't heard her do to this extent within a song. Angelina started with jazz as her base for her music education. Her grandmother, who is a big influence in her life started her down this road. If you have never heard her sing you must go back to her run through Norway's Got Talent. You will see the influence by the songs she chooses to do. You will also see performances from a 7 year old that you wouldn't think possible. I know I didn't. She is a very special young woman who had the good fortune to be born into a family. And an extended family that nutures that curiosity and supports it the way they have. Make no mistake Angelina is very talented. That talent would have shown itself eventually, but because she has a family that stands with her here she is now. Angelina has a gift for finding the essence of a song and then singing that straight into the listeners heart. It is a gift that goes way beyond her years. It cannot be reasoned out, it is a gift that she has received and has practiced with it so much that it is ingrained in her style.

Not only does Angelina honor the young homeless girl she met by performing barefoot, but she also wrote a book about the experience. It’s called Mellom to jherter (“Between two hearts”), and was published in 2015, when Angelina was only 9 years old. According to her website, Angelina then “vowed never to appear on stage again wearing shoes until all the world’s children had them.” She keeps that promise to this day, as she says that little girl “is always in my heart.” She arranges all of her own music.
