Clark was a legendary college player that carried a good (but not deep) squad on her back and ultimately ran into two great squads with more depth (LSU in 23 and SC today). That happens. Sooner or later you run into a buzzsaw. That doesn’t tarnish her legacy. I think it actually gives her a bit of a Rocky factor. I’ll be a fan going forward.

Seeming some folks had never watched Caitlin play prior to the LSU vs Iowa championship; because if you did; you would know that the "I DON'T SEE YOU" taunt was something Caitlin had been doing all season long. That's BS! Dawn Staley has been filling the Arena here in Columbia for years about 20k every home game with most of their games on TV. No one around here gives 2 ****s about Deliverance Iowa CC or her being in the WNBA because quite frankly yeah sure she's good and she scores but the sun and moon damn sure do not rise because of her.

🧢, we all saw how the game was about to go, the refs made every tickie- tack call they could. They were making sure they kept Iowa in that game. Carolina won by 12, just think, had the refs not made all those whack calls, Carolina would have blown Iowa out. when Raven Johnson made that last play right before halftime the game was over then. So Angel Reese was not lying about what she was insinuating. The difference between Carolina and Connecticut was bench play and Carolina was not going to fold and give up that lead so it wasn’t gonna come down to a last second play to where the refs would decide who was going to win the game.

Im not a sports nut, but i see everyone claiming that it was ok when the white girl did it, but not when a black girl did it, ignoring all the context that makes it different and wrong. They even claim its not a problem when men act this way. I have never seen an nba player act this way after beating another team. Correct me if im wrong, but caitlin didnt do it after winning either. This is what makes it wrong to mist people. Trash talking during the game, or even before, is perfectly fine and acceptable. The problem occurs when the winner starts trash talking the loser. Its beyond rude and unsportsmanlike

Often when you play at a high level, which both Caitlin and angel do, you get a lot of attention. Both do, and both like it. As I predicted, USC would dominate the boards REBOUNDING and win the "in the paint" game. As they always do! The so called "super hero" Clark shot ONLY shot 35% and 5 for13 three pointers.Clark had the most rebounds for Iowa, indicating a weak backcourt for Iowa. She plays at the top of the key and still had the most rebounds for Iowa? The rest of the team did not elevate at all. Iowa just got beat by a better coached and better team. Congrats to USC. USC got so little MEDIA coverage all year while going undeafeated. I wonder why?
