Here’s why I love this manager and why he’s so great: 3:15-4:10. He identifies the challenge and that you never want to find yourself in this position, then removes the pressure from his players and places it on him…and finishes by saying these are the times he enjoys. Brilliant.

How would Ange have done that??? Ange has shown at every single stage of his career he’s in the first cab off the rank as soon the next job offer comes in. That includes coaching two a-league clubs and the Socceroos.

@@shottskiesso he should have just stayed at Brisbane then? If he hadn’t moved on when he did he wouldn’t be where he is today, managing in the most popular league in the world. He is blazing a trail for Aussie managers and coaches and this will benefit Australian football much more than anything he could have accomplished if he stayed here.

He says exactly what fans at the grassroots feel, but he never says it in a high brow or formulated way that we have trouble understanding, real difficult topics being spoken about here but the average football fan like me can understand.

His presence has filtered to levels at the club. The U21 team in Premier League 2 are playing the same as the First Team and getting great results. Excellent!
