As a Rangers fan I’ve got nothing but respect for this guy. He came in and transformed Celtic pretty much instantly and has never deviated away from his vision of playing attacking football all the time. Any player is going to be attracted to playing under him and his style of football. He also speaks really well - I’ve just sat and watched this at 23 minutes long! Something I wouldn’t have done for other Celtic managers! Think he also shows a respect to others in the game and there won’t be any controversy under him. I remember many of my fellow Rangers fans laughing when he was appointed having bets on when he’d get sacked! Personally I thought it would either be a disaster of an appointment or turn out to be a stroke of genius - and it turned out to be the latter! I would say I hope he starts on a downturn now but that’s not happening with where the two teams are - can see him having a long spell of dominance in Scottish football.

I used to be a Celtic die hard and I lost interest in the game ( I’m talking back in 1999-2000 season) up until 2 seasons ago I didn’t watch any football ( Scottish, English or European) but this lad has truly turned everything on its head , there is a massive amount off respect for what he has done in Scotland. Celtic have up the standards which has dragged every other team up a level too , big ange is a manager which has the respect that comes across by the way he conducts himself and he seems to be level headed always. These Rangers fan’s are true football fans their ambassadors for their club. Celtic and Rangers have an element in the support create bad headlines. I still say both have majority of fans that don’t drag their team through the mud. Cheers for your unbiased objectivity. Respect to these guys.
