    This was the only Wimbledon final that Novak lost, and he was in peak form. Shows just how insanely good Murray was😳. Hoping he has one last run left in him!

    @@Logan00710 well unforced errors don't really account for the psychological pressure and the errors driven out of that. So I understand your point but the most physically strong player with one of the best defenses who just reached Wimby finals couldn't be said to have played outrightly bad.

    There is not a player on the planet now who could touch Murray then. I'm not sure tennis followers appreciated just how good this guy was. He played in an era like no other, and he could still beat the big guys regularly.

    Murray was 2 sets up, a break up and serving for the match. Still it took him 12 minutes to win the final game. This just shows how insanely hard it is to defeat Djokovic, especially during important points. Great job by Murray

    @@bartholomewlyons maybe, Murray looked wiped out, but Djokovic still looked fresh. Murray was just probably really nervous, so may have recovered, especially only needing one set, but looked 50/50 for sure.

    Congrats UK! Miraculous, as an obvious aspect of the game suggested it was Djokovic who was mostly dictating the rally. He was so good on grass. So was Andy's defensive skill. An amazing moment!

    absolutely right. its a gift like the Olympics. Still Andy is not on the level of Novak, Roger, Nadal that can win again a grand slam. I'm sure this is the only Wimbledon that Andy can win, he can't do it again.

    The Scot was a wall at his very best. He didn't possess the genius or flare of Federer, the mind of Rafa, nor the acrobatic abilities of Novak, but Andy would robotically keep the ball in play until he felt right to strike.

    Federer gone, Rafa inured possibly retiring soon and Murray and Warwinka also will retire soon, Tennis is just not going to be the same without those guys, and just I hope Carlos Alcaraz wins more slams, and doesn't suffer the 1 U.S open slam win like the other 3 guys who won in the past and never won another slam.

    Novak almost make a comeback from that, Fortunately for Murray he was able to get through that situation and winning the match and the tittle, and I'm thinking that it wasnt't the one match that Murray had to give all in the service to win the match, I remind the World Tour Finals in 2016 that he was in a similar situation agains Novak

    I got to watch this commentated by Chris Fowler, John + Patrick McEnroe. That commentary team is amazing. They crack plenty of jokes and in this particular match after the trophy ceremony they went and looked at everyones reactions, then Chris went "What did Ivan do on match point".... John: "This could be a....." *Andy wins, Ivan stands and barely smiles* Patrick: "He did smile though!!" John: "That is him going CRAZY!"
