Like the Davis cup for example is team play while most tournaments are individuals (or doubles) but the actual scoring of each match is about the same. I don't fully understand why, but some tournaments have line judges, some have automated line judging, some allow more camera reviews and challenges and some don't. Clay tends to be one where they don't offer as much camera replay/challenges. Idk why though honestly, I know you can see marks more clearly in clay, obviously, but more camera reviews and challenges should be allowed at least.

The CAS reported that the younger brother was at a junior tennis tournament in Finland at the time so Mikael's version of events could not be true.[34] After the suspension was upheld, Ymer announced his retirement from professional tennis on 25 August 2023.

The match was in Madrid with a very partisan crowd. Berdych had it with them and antagonized them, eventually doing the shush sign at them when the match was over. Nadal felt disrespecting the crowd was poor behavior and since this was early days when Nadal's english was limited all he could muster was "that was very bad" or something simple like that. He didn't like Berdych's gesture to shut the crowd up. ^Those are the events as they happened, as for my opinion I think it wasn't that big of a deal, Berdych isn't the first nor the last to antagonize a bad crowd, Nadal just felt a bit salty cuz he lost with homecrowd (somewhat understandable in the heat of the moment and he didn't say anything super bad either, even if I think he overreacted).

JMac's outburst in Stockholm is a classic! All of the people that talk him down because of his temper can go suck a trophy......oh, but they have none😂😂 Pick your players and have fun; not every player's demeanor has to be like that of a Lendl or Federer. It makes the game more interesting to watch.

That Shapovalow incident was totally unfair. How do you expect him to show the umpire where the ball landed in all that clay while staying behind the net? Some of these tennis rules are stupid and need to amended. I also don't know why umpires fight so hard about the position of the ball on the line. Just call up ball-tracking and confirm it instead of wasting time arguing with players.

The only thing I learned from this video is that there is one specific ref who is the absolute worst at his job and has no place being around for any tournaments. I’ll try to find his name.

Rune was right. The ball was clearly out, there was 2-3 cm-s between the mark and the line (afterwards it was shown in video too). The ref was just an assh.le by trying to prove his right instead of apologising.
