Hi liked your post! I was suppose to see Andy on the Shadow Dancing tour when I was 13. Unfortunately I couldn’t go. My mother made it up to me the next year in 1979 with seeing The Bee Gees on their Spirits having flown tour! It was the best concert ever!! My mom and brother took me into New York City! It was the most amazing day of my life! I’m now 56! Where did the time go? Miss those wonderful days!

This is BEAUTIFUL MUSIC---not the horrific NOISE that the non musical "performers" of today put out to POISON our world. Thank God THIS actual music exists so we can turn off that garbage polluting our poor pathetic young people's ears. It is pathetic that the young people can't ADMIT to themselves that they are being SOLD A LOAD OF GARBAGE---and told that the NOISE they are being marketed is really "cool". Young people today are all such pathetic "FOLLOWERS" and afraid to speak up, that they just robotically accept whatever garbage NOISE "artists" that are being MARKETED to them, and go along with the crowd. In doing so, they have become desensitized and don't even know what a melody sounds like. They are afraid to tell their peer group that the "Emperor" is not talented. (The "Emperor" aka Drake, JayZ, Kanye, Meghan Stallion ( no THEE), Cardi B (Hey Cardi, Why don't you just stick to the pole). The Emperor's are scam "artists" not musical "artists". Drake, JayZ and Kanye have already become BILLIONAIRES just by selling their load of garbage noise full of the n-word used MULTIPLE times in each of their recordings--- to young and naive kids and young adults who all are DESPERATE to be considered "cool" themselves, so they buy the garbage that they are being fed.

She said his beautiful smile was so sad I would want him know that in the year 2022 his music and his smile changed my life , for the better and I’m so sorry he couldn’t see how special he truly was and that his life had purpose🥲😇🥰😘

I was born In 1974 so there’s a lot of great memories mixed with the music of that time. Donna summer Bee Gees/Andy Olivia Newton John , kool and the gang , rod stewart. etc. the list goes on and on 🥰

This is one of the best songs produced by the Bee Gees for their "baby" brother and it showed that he was every bit as talented as the other members of his family. It;s a difficult business for people who are tough. He was very young and probably didn't have to develop the ambition or fight for fame. I thought that his early passing was tragic and wonder what could have been had he lived a longer time. Rest in peace-N

If you don’t like Andy, why watch his videos? Get a life. I’m embarrassed for you, commenting misinformation everywhere. It’s unhealthy, so I’d suggest doing something actually productive. Andy’s wife left him first. That was her decision and that was fine. It was because of his drug addiction, but his drug addiction was NOT a choice. He had severe mental health and psychological problems, and they were simply not understood well enough to properly treat back them as they are now. Not only that, but they were stigmatized and getting help for these things was looked down upon. He turned to self medicating with drugs and ended up becoming addicted as he was clearly genetically predisposed to it. It’s the fault of society for pushing millions into this position by stigmatizing mental health and receiving help. He still did love her and never chose fame over her. He stayed in contact with her and his daughter for years up until his death, even though Andy’s mother said the Reeder family allowed their family to have limited contact. Kim, herself, has said that Andy was not a bad person, but had an addictive personality. She said she still felt loved by him since their phone calls would last up to five hours. She also said she thought they could remarry since he did stay in contact with her, but that she’d never know since he died. He was also ready to see his daughter since he was fully clean, but died shortly after the visit was scheduled. Now, I am by no means saying he was a great father or husband, but what you’re saying is just not entirely true. Please do some more research before you apply feelings onto Kim that she never said she felt and obsessively spew borderline misinfo. It’s not a pretty look, hon.

Your comment made me cry; Darling Andy was a Love! My heartbeat. He was the kindest most affectionate human I have ever encountered in life. Both he & my Precious Mo only received bad raps on their personal struggles from publicity which still hurts my heart. They both were so underrated in their genius of talent. The day they left, music stopped. It was a sad good bye you never get over. My first junior high school love recorded this song for me on a tape and had someone give it to me in a beautifully wrapped gift box with chocolates. When I got home and opened it, I could feel my heart almost stop. I was speechless and in tears. I layed across my bed listening to this song eating chocolates and crying because he wanted me to know his feelings were not of like but true love. Blew me away! Those young years gracing us with young love certainly live on in our memories and hearts. Never take true love for granted no matter what age you are. 😉

In the early 2000’s I was hired to repair the mausoleum where Andy’s body is interred. The structure was in desperate need of reinforcement, and as a result several caskets had to be removed so repairs could be done. Andy’s casket was one of them. This was done at night to prevent any visitors from seeing the caskets being removed. After we completed our work and were prepping to move the caskets back into their slots, the job foreman suggested we open Andy’s coffin and pay our respects. I will never for as long as I live forget what I saw that night. RIP Andy Gibb.

Just goes to show you how genuine of a person Barry Gibb is. I don't think he ever wanted to take credit for writing songs for his brother. It was purely out of love for him and wanting to see him succeed.

I was just a kid back in the 1970's but I'm telling you Andy Gibb was unstoppable at one point. Everything he done was a hit! The guy had it all. Awesome, look, voice, and stage presents. A career that was practically handed to him by his older brothers. He literally snatched defeat from the jaws of success..... It was rare to have none soul music on rotation in my household growing up but his music and his brothers was the rare exception. God Rest His Amazing Soul.....

I guess there really is something to working for what you want. If you don't work for it, it doesn't mean as much and you don't value it in the same regard. Too much too fast. Too many conflicting emotions. Too damn bad, he's voice was magical.

Omg seeing this brings back so many memories of my youth. I had the most mad crush on Andy. Was so sad when he passed. His songs as well as the songbook of the brothers Gibb will always hold such happy and warm fuzzy feelings within me. R.I.P. Andy.❤🙏

When your older brother, a brilliant song writer and your younger brothers' are your backing vocals - there is no other way to spell SUCCESS. Andy and Barry are the two brothers that are the most alike, so it would have been very easy for Barry to write songs for Andy.

This artist has the most beautiful and clean voice. Every word is sung so clearly, such a big loss in the music industry. Thank you for your beautiful voice and music Andy Gibb.

the love Barry has for all his brothers, he wrote all their songs and produced them, even sung back up vocals with Maurice and Robin. They had this bond as brothers.

So fortunate that I was able to see the Bee Gees back in the 70's in Atlanta ! Awesome!

This song was one of my favorites back in the day. Brings back fond memories of being at the roller skating rink holding hands with my then high school sweetheart. His voice was smooth and his delivery was very soulful. Very talented young man.
