Guys, let me tell you, this is absolute gold. Massive respect to King Coal, and thank you Sir. Also, I must mention that my mum was a kidney patient on dialysis for 25 years. Sadly, she passed in 2014, but as an avid Manchester United fan, she would have been proud to hear you speak so eloquently about your experiences. Good luck my brother.

An absolute legend! I got to meet Andy back when i was at school, he took time out after the Omagh bomb in 1998 to come over to the North of Ireland and meet fans and give his support to the victims of the bomb. He made a point to meet everyone who showed up that day and there was hundreds!! Legend forever!!!

I was there as a little kid at the United game v Omagh. I randomly bumped into big Roy mc Creadie 6 months ago, the manager of Omagh then...a gentleman. He said he told Sir Alex to make sure they put it on them that day, take it serious and give the fans a show. They had just won the treble and were showing the cups around the pitch after. Great memories.

See Coley and Yorky down at the driving range in Adlington quite a bit. Only ever say hi, never bother them for photos and all that crap, but after this I wanna give him a hug!!! Amazing man!!!
Not only did he look after Yorke & Ruud…. As a young fan, he invited me to his house to take pics & chill. What a guy ❤

I remember when Cole scored 5 goals Vs Ipswich on my birthday. What a player, and damn right put some respect on his name.
I loved Andy Cole growing up as a kid. Underrated goal machine.
My favorite Manchester United player, so proud of what he has achieved and glad his health is on track. Always wanted to be like Andy Cole as a kid, had little money but the only player i had a shirt of with the name printed on the back.
Love the way Jay is in absolute awe. So wholesome that even after all these years as a journo, he's still genuinely made up to meet Man Utd greats.
Half way through and this is already one of the best interviews I've ever seen.
Great interview boys. You asked the questions and let Andy tell the his story with no interruptions. I could listen to Andy cole all day. Fantastic player, family man and a true gentleman. 187 goals enough said.
What a guy. Humble. Childhood memories

This might just be the greatest interview of all time. Cant thank you guys enough for bringing this one into my life. Andy pretty much describing how I found out about my Kidney failure. Perfectly fit meaning your body doesnt start to go bad until it is really bad. Going to hospital suspecting something minor and then being hit with this freight train. Was the exact same with me, body held up until it got to the point where my blood was borderline death levels of toxins. Its a horrible way to live once you go on to dialysis, and I also had strained relationships as a result of the whole situation becauae people will never truly understand it from the inside perspective. So grateful for the likes of Andy for this ❤
An absolute hero!!
One of my favourite strikers ever. So underrated. Under appreciated especially by England. What a legend ❤
You can tell Coley enjoyed this! He was much before my time, but hearing about him and seeing his highlights makes me understand why he's held on such high regard. What a player and a true legend of Manchester United and the front line of Andy ,Yorker,Teddy and Ole what an amazing goal scoring front line and what they achieved! Looking good Andy respect to you and all the best for your future GGMU 😊
Cole was one of my favorite players, still today no player can match his in game movement. How he created space for himself and others created so many chances. His in game intelligence and spatial awareness is still unmatched. Every young striker should watch tapes of Cole and study his movement. His touch, shot, passing and technique were all top class too. The man was so savagely under rated by the national team and English press, everyone had their heads too far up Shearer's arse and ignored a world class talent. Great interview too, very intimate and personal.
@chrisparker8013

The England argument was always about how many chances he missed. That was wrong way round thinking, he missed chances because he made chances. His goal record without free kicks and penalties say all you need to know.
One of the best interviews of a footballer ever. It was REAL . I knew what he went through , but his strong family was a stabiliser to his courage
So underrated. "RESPECT " Andy Cole 👊🏽🙏🏾✌🏽 Great interview I always admire the way he carries himself.

I love the honesty of Coley. So funny man. He takes no prisoners 😂😂 We need more Coley stories
I remember when he signed from Newcastle and he was struggling to score but OMG once he got through that he was very special and loved his trade of scoring and not just tap ins. Absolutely deserves fans love and should be getting more respect for a career that some kids nowadays will never get anywhere near his status
A brilliant striker. Wish we had a centre forward like Cole again.
Love this guys, Andy was one of my favourite players at the time. Him and Yorke were 🔥. Proper legend of our club who won it all. Cheers Andy and all the best for the future !

Brilliant Interview!!! I remember sitting at home and hearing the news that Andy Cole had signed for United and I was the happiest man on the planet. The roof came off my house. What joy that guy has brought to EVERY Manchester United supporter that should never be forgotten. Many fans have never experienced what it was like in the Fergie years and I would encourage any young player to get on KZread and watch Andy and Dwight Yorke lighting up a football pitch. It really was a sight to behold. Best Wishes to Andy with his recovery and work for Kidney Research UK. Such a humble guy and a LEGEND!!!!

Loved this. I still remember exactly where I was on the bus home from school when it was announced on the radio that Cole signed for United. All the reds on the school bus cheered. What a legend, great interview and so happy to see him looking well
I remember when we signed him from Newcastle. It was so exciting as he had scored some unbelievable goals for them. The chemistry he had with Yorke was telepathic, an amazing combination of 2 players at the top of their game. It was a pleasure watching Colely. A true united legend even though he did play for City later in his career. 👍❤️👏💪👌🙏
So glad to have been at a good age (17) and lived through the 98-99 Treble season. Will never be topped in terms of emotion and all those iconic moments. Fergie in his pomp and a group of legendary players! Best times of my life without doubt!!
I’ve had to watch it again. This is one of the best handled interviews I’ve seen. Macca and Jay you were both respectful, fun and clearly passionate and knowledgable. You got the best out of a proper legend here. Up the Paddock.
Love Coley. Stand up guy, wish he was more involved with the club. So many great childhood memories, and one of the most underrated and underappreciated players to ever lace boots.
Enjoyed listening to his stories about his career. Quiet and humble guy, one of our greatest ever players. top man Andy cole!👊
Absolute top class podcast lads! I was looking forward to it when it was announced and it blew my expectations. I love how candid Coley is, and how open and transparent he is - he has always been like this. Even from his playing days, he still has the same mannerisms and laidback persona. You can tell his upbringing played a huge part in how he is as a man - how respect gets paid back in spades. I’ll never ever forget the day he signed for United; it was one of those signings where I knew exactly where I was (I even remember what I had for dinner that day - spag bol 😂). I was over the moon like millions of Utd fans & I remember his hat-trick v Feyenoord, goal v Spurs & that step-over combo with Yorkie in the Camp Nou like it was yesterday. What a gent, a gent who’s equally loved by all Utd fans across the globe. I wish him nothing but happiness for the future and to give him a big virtual hug - and thank him for many other happy memories as a kid following Utd. 😇🤟
Wow guys, totally batted it out the park with this one! Amazing interview with an absolute legend. Well done and thank you ❤
I met Coley at the Hilton in London in 2017 when he started this kidney journey. Despite not being well, he was kind enough to have a picture with me. Coley - selfless, humble, and just the best striker ever

Superb interview and session with Cole. Strength and Power to those battling against Kidney Diseases.
Cole & Yorke is the striker partnership any manager would have been happy with. Two elite footballers who were also team players. We were lucky to have them.
I've been part of FTRD and then SP for so long now. And this is without a doubt the greatest thing so far. Absolutely adored how real and raw this interview was. Amazing work lads! UTFP
Absolute legend very eloquent and down to earth . He should never be disrespected he's got the goals and the trophies to prove it.
I grew up watching Coley score goals for Man Utd, great days. I read his book a couple of years ago, top man and a true legend
So much respect for Andy Cole as a human being. Well done Adam & Jay for this quality interview and for giving Coley the platform to share his story. Brilliant. ATB john gubba.
If I could like this 3 times , I would!! This is fantastic. The disrespect this unbelievable person, let alone this legendary forward does, is remarkable. Some people really need a reminder of how good Andy Cole was. Recency bias is unreal
Captivating interview thanks Andy and to the Stretford Paddock for this pure enjoyment. Cole gave us so much pleasure on the pitch and continues to do so.
Andy Cole You are a true United legend & True gentleman Your record speaks for itself Hope you stay safe & well All the best to you & your family
Just sitting here geeking out, it’s a crime how underrated Andy Cole is especially nowadays. Pure quality content these are the interviews we dream of, UTP🔥👌🏾😑
Coley was a Goal Machine, when I called him that my mates laughed, but he kept on proving me right. Absolute legend and my favourite member of the Treble winning team. Impressed to see him using his talents now to help others with his fund and Kidney Research UK
Point can be made that Andy was overlooked because he was a young black English lad who didn’t fit into the media’s want for “white mans black man”. Massive respect to a man who did it all on his own terms.
Thanks so much for this! Great to listen to Andy. @Andy thank you for all the years and what you gave us as United fans. It was a blessing to be alive to see you and the team you were in.
Am about to binge all of Cole’s 187 goals… 90’s football was a different game and this guy was a different player! Media did him dirty, hoddle mismanaged him and not once did he cry about it! The cole/Yorke partnership was truly devastating and a joy to watch!
Thankyou Andy Cole for all the amazing memories that you gave me as a kid and that will live with me forever 🇾🇪❤️
Fantastic to hear and see from the great man. Outside of Buchan he is my favourite United player and likely my favourite ever striker. Met him twice and both times I have been tongue-tied, which is rare for me. An absolute legend in my eyes that still gets looked over when it comes to strikers of the PL area.
Legend. I vividly remember the day we signed him. I was on my way home from school with some mates and we called into a convenience store near our house for after school snacks (a daily pilgrimage). The owner knew we were all massive reds and he'd heard the news on the radio a few hours before. We were all absolutely buzzing about it. Good times.
What a fantastic interview. What a gentleman. I wish he had more of a media presence. What a man. Absolute gold.
Legend and my favourite player in the 90s for the goals, the movement and the perseverance!
This was a fantastic interview! A step up even from the interviews on FIVE. Good as those are, you'll really allowed the conversation to just take place rather than force it with questions that get clipped up for 10 seconds. He seemed really comfortable chatting with you both, and great to hear his story. Congrats Adam and Jay!
The most real football interview you’ll ever see. Great work lads.
