There are still 2 projects that improve performance. 1 - It is UMA, in addition to increasing performance more than NCE will help reduce RAM consumption (8GB is probably enough). 2 - Optimize the Jit for 32 bits. This should give more speed to 32-bit games like Mario Kart or New Supwr Marios Bros that were not affected by NCE.

I've upgraded to Pro. Only £55 difference for the extra Ram and storage. If we're getting this performance on the base it should be even better on the Pro. The fact someone mentioned improvements on GameCube was a shock and is rather give myself the best performance with the last amount of hacks and tweaks Your videos have been amazing though, 🤞🏼 the base will do Switch as good though. 👍🏻

Thank you for your kind comment. The ayn Odin2 (or any other handheld using Android) don’t play PS3 games yet because there is no Android PS3 emulator. It’s possible to play PS3 games on Intel or AMD based handhelds.

The main one is to use the Turnip GPU driver, you can download this in the linked description. In advanced settings, you can force the Adreno clocks for every game as well. To be honest, yuzu is a bit simpler to configure because they aren’t that many settings. Make sure NCE is on in the Debug menu of course. Your tablet seems quite good so it should be as good as in this video.

I heard about this update but was not expecting to come so soon. They are working on something else after this which is reducing the memory usage and plus the ayn team will come out with their official fix. I think the Base is going to be okay with a bit more time. If you are not that concerned with Switch emulation then the Base is a great pick.

If you want to be future proof ( or want better textures for GameCube games for example) you should get at least the 12 gb. Better be safe than sorry.

Nce good but still heating issue is there. I can play Ori BF DE at 60fps constant on my s23+ but after like 20mins game crashes due to heating. The CPU temps reached like 44C before the game crashed and fps dropped like 40-50 just before crashing.

44C is a very good temp for the CPU. Not sure what's up with that. Samsung has their own systems that mess with the software you're running on the phone, might be causing issues.

If you check the FPS in the top left corner of the screen, you can see the current speed of the game. 60 and 30 are typical game speeds.

@@forthenext fps is not the same as game speed. Your gameplay is sped up, look at the same game playing on switch, or yuzu on PC. Check your settings and see if unlimited fps is ON, you need to switch it off. I can double check what other settings might impact this once I am close my PC. Don’t remember it rn.
