Now you know why The RePublicans are doing everything to stay in power. They’ve sold any resemblance of morality, will go to any length now to keep their bums warm in this seats. Why? They are involved in so much of Trump’s criminality, most you don’t yet know about, and they know Trump will throw them under the bus. Nauta is not the only fall guy if need be. All of them should be behind bars, and some gagged, as their intention is intimidation from jury pool up. The chief mobster should be in prison now, instead of allowing him to participate in his favourite hobby, lying and spreading hate.

One thing to point out is that this situation is unprecedented. No roadmap exists because Presidents don't do this. Another thing is that Presidents are kind of an American equivalent of Kings, and as such are shown a great deal of deference. And then there's the political dimension which means showing more leniency than usual in an effort to deflect accusations of persecution for political ends (the non-existent witch-hunt).

Maybe, but a trial is uncontrollable. Indictments are easy, as shown by all of them. Once a trial starts a defense team has a chance to ask questions too. Right now the indictments are coming fast and easy with the goal to be to keep Trump out of the white house, The people on this panel would have impeached him for jaywalking if they could have. In a trial they'll have to answer questions under oath, rules of evidence will apply. So yea, I can see him taking to trial. After all what has trump got to loose?

Two points: 1. The guy who said he didn't have the right to delete the server probably wasn't actually raising a legal concern. I think the word "right" actually referred to his access privileges, which some people call access rights. He probably had a user password that gave him the "right" to view the files, but not delete them. An administrator password would be needed to delete. 2. This is a brilliant legal strategy by the special council because it forces Trump and Nauta to turn on each other. Trump's only defense is to claim Nauta acted alone and without Trump's knowledge or consent. So expect to see Nauta get his own attorney soon.

All good. You have to wonder though, if these two employees stuck with this jerk for anymore than one or two paychecks how good are their critical thinking skills and judgement??

“Clean” case? If Colin Powell were still alive, he’d probably call it a “Slam Dunk”.

Mr. Thrush sees it clearly: Donnie was panicked when he issued those orders. But now, I imagine Donnie's blubbering, apoplectic, AND panicked. Picture Kyle Rittenhouse "weeping" on the stand ... but it's Donnie's face. So sad for Donnie. So sad for ALL of us who had to put up with his immaturity and cruelty. Donald Trump was, most definitely, the absolute worst person to have ever sat in the Oval Office. Such a disgrace.

I haven't heard any news folks mention this: When the guys said, "I don't think I have the rights to do that." The "s"on rights is very key. It's possible he was referring to the access to do it, not the fact that he felt it was wrong to do. It's possible that he would have done it if he had the computer admin rights to do it. Just something worth following up on, I think.

Has anyone thought to check his ex wife's coffin buried on the GOLF COURSE? That was so heavy it took several men to carry and she had been cremated ...only ashes in the coffin..or maybe boxes of top secret documents?

Employee number four may have said "he didn't think he had the rights to do that." But if he were an IT person he may have meant he didn't have the ability to change or erase files on the computer due to his not having full administrative rights. It seems to be widely accepted he felt he should not do so. I can't tell which is correct but either way this guy escaped by the skin of his teeth.
