The criteria that makes a person better is her piety, not her money, intelligence nor honors, so set your priorities right Finally If you want to do entrepreneur go ahead and do it just don't look down on 9-5 workers who may be better than you in front of Allah, only Allah knows

    I dont understand why a muslim doesnt consider a 9/5 job as being a millionaire already? I mean some people are poor and here we are having enough money to fead our family, being able to be on holiday etc. The prophet Muhammad saw said that if we have food enough for one day, if we are healthy and living in freedom we already are rich. Start thanking Allah for what he gave you and not complaining about what he did not give you. We are ungrateful unfortunately. If you think you are poor than let me ask you this: youd be rich and never work again but lose both hands or you live a normal live working 9/5 but are healthy always?

    @DawahTrain19 күн бұрын

    Guys, Daniel made multiple valid points first of all, Daniel is speaking on a much broader level. He says that Andrew's advice isn't practical for 99% of young men which is true. A lot of people are tied to their countries which they have been born in, so the chance of people being entrepreneurs in the US and UK is a lot higher than the chance of people living in 3rd world countries. When you jump into the world of entrepreneurship with no practical experience with no connection, with absolutely nothing and you follow that narrative that you are escaping the matrix, then this isn't practical at all. Another important thing is that Daniel didn't tell you TO NOT become entrepreneurs, he said that in terms of the majority of people around the world, most people actually are not capable of becoming entrepreneurs straight out of high school or college. (Notice that Daniel is emphasizing on the age that Andrew is targeting). And when Daniel said that it is better to work the 9 to 5 becomes I am sure that people will use that out of context. Here, Daniel doesn't tell you to go and work the 9 to 5 like a slave to your employer and become an obedient employee, he is simply saying that, to become an entrepreneur, you have to have certain skill sets that need to be acquired by doing professional work in a professional environment and that is by doing the 9 to 5. Once you do the 9 to 5, once you acquire these skills, once you've been in the shoes of an employee, once you become much more financially stable, it would be much better and less risky for you to open your business and become an entrepreneur. So, the idea is to do the work and not take the leap of escaping the matrix that way. Strive to have the skill sets then it would be easier to make the shift. Notice how Daniel said in 1:53 that you can increase your provision which comes from Allah by means of hard work, but YOU MUST DO IT IN A WISE AND PRACTICAL WAY. I think that Daniel is giving practical advice that most of us might not like but this is the real world. Success and Experience are not obtained and reached by a click of a button or by making shorts, it is obtained by doing the hard work. It is sarcastic how he called his online digital platform the real world. May Allah guide us and guide him. Ameen. Don't forget that Andrew is a marketing master, so funny that he got you out of the matrix, that is run by the elite, to his own matrix run by him. Jazaka Allah Khairn brother Daniel for tackling this point. As a 20 year old this advice helped me A TON. May Allah preserve you my brother.

    Working a 9-5 job lets you see how businesses are run, learn industry best practices, and understand what works and what doesn't. What if someone's passion is to be an entrepreneurial doctor, engineer, programmer, or lawyer? You need experience, put in the hours, and be a resident in a hospital to get licensed, understand the industry, and then make the jump to opening your own business. This foundational experience is essential. Just having a "go-getter" mindset and doing 100 pushups a day isn't going to cut it. There is a difference between failing and trying again when you don't know what you're doing versus failing and trying again when you do. However, some of Tate's approach has truth to it, particularly the emphasis on networking, which can be important in many industries.

    Connecting entrepreneurship with bAd MaTeRiAliSm is an even bigger matrix. You can talk it bad because of muh mOnEy or see it as something positive, as being financially independent means your wife, sisters and daughters do not have to work, you can provide for your family easily, you don‘t go grey because of unpaid bills, you don‘t fall into poverty in your old age, you have much more to give in charitable projects or even start your own and and and…. The upper hand is better than the lower hand. It‘s not „materialism“ or „money“ that is to be blamed, but rather the individual itself. Money without fearing Allah swt is a punishment I‘d say, but having money whilst being God-fearing, spending on your loved ones and for good causes, not neglecting your prayers is - besides health - one of the best things to have.

He's helped thousands of people through his humanitarian organisation which provides basic human needs to people in war torn countries. He's contributed a lot to society. This guy is the role model people need rather than rappers, twitchs streamers and other "internet influencers" which have nothing good to give to their audience.

    Yes, but the concept of successful investing revolves around the right time to do it. You can't tell a young guy to start doing business right away without having skills and experience which suit the business market and also raising a sufficient capital. That would be the worst kind of advice and approach to adopt cause dealing with business obviously requires education, experience, time and some good enough amount of money to begin with. The Tates and many other influencers exploit youngsters onto believing in this fake advertising which results into a alot of them fall into the trap and those influencers don't give a damn of course as they benifit from it.

    Many entrepreneurs begin by their businesses as a side-job, rather than immediately putting all their eggs in one basket, if you get what I'm saying. It is true that quite a few companies did start off from poorer backgrounds, but there are many more companies whose founders had already had financial stability, and were capable with experimenting with new ideas. The point is, we as Muslims shouldn't make this dunya and materialistic wealth our number one priority. We should instead be chasing after our deen, improving our faith in Islam, and having sabr (patience). When the time comes, and if Allah wills, insha'Allah, you will get whatever you desire (as long as it's halal). And if you don't, know that Allah has prepared something infinitely better for you in Jannah. The best role-model we should all take example from is Prophet Muhammed ﷺ‎. The matrix "exists" in cultural and political imagination to scapegoat what is in the world that is holding us back from a real un-enslaved existence free from immoral profiteering atheism. This existence is suffocating. The dream of free ourselves from the Matrix is therefore, analogous to Musa (AS) and his followers breaking free from the Pharoah and his hierarchical observation and control over their lives, and every struggle by a rebel group against its hegemon. The matrix is therefore not "good" or "the way as the world is" when narrowly defined with concepts like "job" and "hustle culture" but appealing to a deep-seated socio-psychological exhaustion and burnout with all the projects espoused by liberal modernity.

    May Allah s.w.t. forgive me for my assumptions but I think Tate used Islam as a way to get more famoous and unfortunately many muslim men fell into that hole. I could see from the beginning that he doesn't seem a s a sincere person, may Allah forgive me for saying this. But attending parties, drinking places with lots of women, going and making shirk recently in a christian tradition for the sake of his brother and many other stuff isn't justified for a muslim. On the other side we've had Sneako who has been keen on learning the deen from sheikh Uthman and he seems really interested in learning more and more. If Tate doesn't get close to a knowledgeable imam, I think he's going in a dark road. Someone should approach him and guide him.

    There are SO many Tate defenders in the comments.. I wonder how many of them are subscribed to his bro-club and just keep drinking the juice because of sunken-cost fallacies possibly.

    I agree with most things that Tate says but some of it is unrealistic because he’s not in our position
