My hunch is that those who find Ken Wilber, Andrew Cohen (and others who are particularly similar) to be annoying are those for whom spirituality is a big part of their life, but who nurture an unexamined bias against deliberately precise and thorough use of the mind. A hunch. Frankly, it's mind-boggling to me when a seemingly open-minded, open-hearted person can know a few things about Ken Wilber and fail to appreciate his immense service to human beings and all life.
