Andretti Recruits POWERFUL Allies For MASSIVE Legal Battle!

Спорт

Since Formula One Management denied Michael Andretti’s FIA backed entry into Formula One, the Andretti Autosport team has been attacking the problem from every angle. They have been petitioning the teams, having conversations with Formula One Management and their owners Liberty Media, but nothing so far has worked. It has been obvious since the FIA opened their invitation to new teams, that the current grid and Formula One owners Liberty Media were not interested in having anyone else join them in the paddock. Andretti has gotten sick of empty talk and brick walls, so instead, has decided to go to the highest power with influence over Liberty Media, recruiting the most powerful ally in the USA. Today, I’m going to tell you about Andretti’s latest move to get into Formula One, and whether it might work, so don’t go anywhere.

Sergeant was let in after the Americans cried and stamped their feet like petulant children to get him through the door. They all screamed and shouted that he would be competitive and show f1 “how to really drive”. How’s that worked out? Now you’ve got Andretti trying to act like a child and get the big boys to bully F1 until they’re allowed in. They won’t provide value, they won’t be competitive, they should stick to spec car racing. You know it’s just petty childish American nonsense.

@@matthewfreear Two things. First off, no one cried to get Logan Sargeant in the door. No one cared and we expected to honestly see Nyck De Vries in the Williams. Second, the problem is that the concord agreement lays out all the things necessary to bring a new team to the grid and says there can be up to 12 teams with a $200M buy in. And it went something like this: F1: $200M buy in please. Andretti: OK, who do I make the check to? F1: Oh... uhhh.... you need an OEM backing you up with a power unit. Andretti: OK cool, GM/Cadillac is on board. F1: Oh... uhh.... well you need a facility in Europe because the US time zone is just too far off. Andretti: OK, we're building a facility in the UK. F1: Oh... uhh.... you need the FIAs OK before we can OK you. Andretti: OK FIA approved us. F1: Oh... uhhh.... well, $200M isn't enough now. Andretti: OK, who much? Just tell me how much to pay. F1: No. The answer is no because we don't think you can be competitive and financially stable! Meanwhile, Williams doesn't have a 3rd chassis and can't field two cars in Australia. Haas is constantly complaining about money. Alpine can barely outpace an F2 car. Sauber can't pit stop under 20 seconds because of wheel nuts. It's the hypocrisy of it all. "We don't see the value you'd bring." What value does Haas or Alpine bring? Andretti, a legendary name in motorsport with Mario being F1 champion in the F1 Hall of Fame, having IndyCar championships, Formula E championships, Global RallySport and US RallySport championship, bringing GM with them, which is the #5 automaker in the world and outside of the incoming Audi (VAG) the largest manufacturer in F1 is somehow not going to bring value? Meanwhile, WTF has Haas ever done? It truly seems to me that they fear that a team will come in and not only be competitive, but challenge for race wins in short order like they've done in every other form of motorsports they've joined. It would just go to show how incompetent and UNcompettiive Haas, Sauber, Alpine, Williams and RB have been.

Andretti was too slow to buy HAAS. Clearly the use of historically restricted tracks like monacco F1 is restricted to have any additional cars on the track unless cars actually where cut by 50% in size. Liberty media needs to be taken out of the picture. A new European concord without liberty media would allow F1 to be in control of expansion in more European races to stop F1 team burn out.

Starting legal procedings may "derail" and sour these talks and may not get the result that Andretti wants. The Congress enquiry may just close the door creating a negaitive result. Andretti should be allowed in. Most people want to see more teams and therefore more seats for new upcoming drivers to get on the grid. They have both refused to take responsibility for their own mistakes over the years. They are prima donnas PERIOD! That being said I would love to see them with an F1 team. FIA/FOM and the teams are even bigger prima donnas! They remind me of 2 year olds, this is my sand box and you can’t play with my bucket and shovel! The only person still in F1 that’s been outside of it, and twice in one season, which I don’t think had happened for a very long time, is Logan “team USA” Sargent. There was a lot of US blow hards saying he was going to be competitive and show the grid how it’s done, and legal challenges, and idiots saying it was “lame excuses” as to why F1 wasn’t keen on having him. The same as Andretti. Might be good in the USA but in the rest of the world they just can’t compete in motorsport.

Do they hear themselves? Just as pepsi is free to create its own Cola drink, Andretti or anyone whoever might want to, are free to create their own exclusive motorsport racing series. And just as Coca Cola has the right to pick from whom they want to buy the sugar or any other ingredient, F1 is free to decide who is going to participate in their sport. F1 is not a market. Bwaaaah! Good luck. You are obviously not from the US. Congress cannot do anything to force the Andretti drama troupe into F1. I have been predicting that if you let this mediocre talented, but extremely entitled family into F1, they will bring more drama than performance to the grid. I didn't expect the drama to begin BEFORE they even get in. Expect much much more. I have an idea...hire the Andrettis as actors for "Drive to Survive" and leave the racing to the talented.

🤔🤔 for years every other team has waited till another team was selling to get in and always have the money to back them selves and sponsors. Andretti wants to get in now because it’s more affordable and becomes the president of F1 says they can add more teams. This is not Nascar where you can add teams as you please with a hundred of car going around a circle ⭕️🤭. If that’s the case, all tracks around the world would have to change their layouts to look more like a circle tracks to fit more cars, the cars would have to be more slower because risk of death is higher, and list goes on. Please don’t troll me BUT ! Andretti is the typical child, that have money and because he knows people, he’s trying to get his way.. The picture is bigger than we think 🧐… It’s just my opinion of observing for years now.. Andretti should just wait his turn or do what Ford and Red-bull did 🤐, shows money can’t buy you everything 😂

Agree 100%. Any more than 20 cars and you get IRL on a road course, laughable. If you play elimination, someone doesn't get paid.

I commend Andretti for not backing down but they shot themselves in the foot by announcing they were going to be in F1 before F1 said they could be. It's that arrogance that set them back and made no other team want them 8n F1. Come humble and ask approval don't be an asshole and say you are entitled to a spot. Act as you are below them then destroy them and you have a better victory. That being said Andretti's application should have been accepted no reason they shouldn't be in F1 other than the value of teams has skyrocketed since the last agreement for entry and the other teams want more more money and rightfully so sonce all teams are worth more now, and that Andretti came in as an arrogant asshole and pissed off every team while they were in talks with calvin lowe and the Saudis.

I predict that if they let the andrettis in, they will file their first lawsuit in their first year because of some perceived unfairness when they don't win. That is the andrettis.

F1 is truly afraid of the Andretti's! Why else would they fight like this to keep them out! Don't give me they don't want to share the winnings?
