ANDRE WARD RECALLS FIRST TIME HE SAW FLOYD MAYWEATHER; GETS DEEP ABOUT BEING APPRECIATED

Спорт

"I got the revelation watching Floyd over the years...if he's not getting his just due...I watched Floyd from the beginning...if they're not going to give a top guy like Floyd his credit...this dude has been dominating since 1996, first time I ever saw him...I don't take it personal anymore...I hope I'm appreciated...when I'm around my peers, it's nothing but respect...just being who I am should be enough," stated undefeated former world champion Andre Ward, who recalled the first time he ever saw Floyd Mayweather and spoke honestly about being appreciated. Check it out!

hulkdaddy71 exactly true. I don’t know why people keep going on about the Cotto when it’s plain 2 see Floyd chose 2 stand his ground more. He could have made that fight a lot easier but chose 2 stand an trade more. He basically did a Sugar Ray Leonard in his first fight with Durán. Look what happened when Leonard did what he was capable of!!!!

Perhaps you should check out Maidana 1 and Jose Luis Castillo fights. Floyd's face was so pulverized you couldn't tell if it was a black man or a white man... swollen hamburger. He didn't walk thru everyone but the Incredibly Corrupt Boxing Machine did. And still does to this day. ALL Pro Sports are corrupted by money, 'the love of money is the root of ALL evil'. Just ask Floyd Turdbinder Jr...

Always thought Floyd was a runner, but it wasn't until he picked apart Canelo that I truly appreciated his skill. When you compare Lara to Mayweather, you realize what a runner looks like. Mayweather may not be a toe to toe brawler/fighter, but he is the best technical fighter, I personally, have ever seen.

He doesn't have the natural talent that Ward and Mayweather have, and has succeeded because of his astonishing understanding of and dedication to the sport of boxing. I personally think Mayweather's "intelligence" has a lot do with his flexibility and reflexes and his safety first approach.

+Chedda Mackin I honestly don't think it has much to do with race. Yes, it helps to be white in America but if he fought like Sugar Ray Leonard I think he would definitely be the face of boxing.

How is Floyd not appreciated?? He is the highest paid fighter in sports. I think most of the grief with Floyd is that in his last 14 fights he has only 2 KO's. That doesn't mean a whole lot if you are a boxer but a casual fan wants to see the finish. On another note, I love Andre Wards boxing style and this interview is great!
