    I'm a Golovkin fan, big time, but man... Andre is a bigger fighter and much more talented and I mean MUCH MORE talented than everyone that Golovkin has fought put together. It's hard for me to grasp the image of Golovkin's style beating Ward's. I can't, but if the fight happens, I'll be rooting for Golovkin.

    I'm a huge fan of both these guys. But you're right. GGG would get schooled and maybe even knocked out by Ward. He's too slick and big for GGG to handle. But I think GGG would handle Canelo. Canelo hits hard but he'll be moving backwards the whole fight and GGG would wear him down. Canelo needs to stop ducking GGG. It's getting ridiculous.

    +Angel Rivera Im just wondering, if Ward and Triple G fought, who do you think deserves the bigger purse? Even WARD fans should agree, that Triple G is the actual pull for fans, and Ward is a biggish name as well, but come on, anyone who knows anything about boxing would agree that Triple G should obviously get the bigger purse. You think Ward would agree to that? Ward will talk shit all day and night but once it comes down to real decisions to really make the fight, its actually WARD who is ducking and making excuses, and crying out to the youtube community to make himself not look like such a bitch. Like how he confirmed he would move up to to fight Kovalev,.... BUT ONLY AFTER he fights Triple G at 168... That is called 2 bird with one stone... cause Ward doesnt want to fight either...

  • @athleticnrg1310

    @athleticnrg1310

    +Angel Rivera agreed man, you made a great point. That is only because a lot of GGG fans don't know shit. I love it when people say that Floyd is afraid of GGG, are you fucking kidding me? Even in Floyd's weight class he would figure him out to quick and make him fight in a style he is not used to. I mean this guy is straight up and down and takes a lot of damage in order to give damage. He hasn't looked that great in the last couple of fights anyway. Hell Willie Monroe Jr. was putting a lot of gloves on him before the TKO. GGG took a lot of unnecessary shots and if he fought someone like Ward his hype would be destroyed. Ward would pop that balloon.

  • @plackiplicki3531

    @plackiplicki3531

    +athleticnrg GGG hasn't faced big names yet because noone wants to fight him, period. Just take example from Canelo ; he weighted 168 pounds a few days ago on the 30 days before ceremony of the fight against Cotto, and then he said that he won't fight GGG at 160 because it's too heavy for him. People are fleeing from him. And about the fight against Monroe, he clearly told that he was letting himself get hit a few times. Same thing against Lemieux ; if you watch closely, you can see that he could've ended it way before, but he didn't even want to finish the job in the early rounds. He fought cool and relax, almost without effort. Ward lost all his credibility in my eyes. He is a guy with problems at boxing, and he tries to make some noise with GGG's name, nothing else.

    Andre Ward is one of my favorite all time greats but I see nothing wrong with representing a weight class that you're a champion in. I get it that a lot of people wants to see him and GGG fight but unless one champion comes up or drops down it will never happen. If GGG decides to get all the belts in one division, it's his choice, why wouldn't he? Everyone is screaming for fights that seem good but as a champion there's sanctions that discourage made up catch weights what Canelo has made a career of doing...fight a champion at the mandated weight,no excuses!!! He's a champion, he doesn't have to come to anyone...

    123 you're picking out a phrase out of a foreign man's vocabulary. english is his fourth language. its obvious from his interviews that he can barely form sensible english. anyways, at the end of the day, if you think either Ward or GGG are afraid of each other then you're just a moron... and it goes both ways. the fight simply hasn't marinated enough to make enough money for any of the 2. Ward hasn't fought in 2 years, he hasn't gotten his requested tune-up bouts, etc. and that's fine. we're going to get Ward vs GGG eventually, it just needs to build up enough for the casual fan to be invested. again, if you think Ward is afraid of GGG you're stupid af. and if you think GGG is afraid of Ward then you're stupid af too.

    frank Ward isn't no hall of famer, he is a damn fight dodger plain and simple and a paper champion.. He has faked that injury for the last 2 years and had to fight or they were going to strip his belt...Then instead of being what a real champ does he fights a bum.. He isnt being honest at all, he was on HBO called a sit down, the commentator ask GGG if he was ready to fight Ward he said yes, they asked Ward if he was ready, Ward said he wasn't ready he needed 2 or 3 more fights...Ward knows that 0 will go....Ward will have to fight 1 of the 3 Russians before its said and done and you will see he cant win by holding them like he does all his other opponents..

    I cut for Ward heavy. But I wish he wasn't so diplomatic and would just call GGG out and emphatically tell the world how he'll kick his ass. That's what Hagler would have done. All of this "business first" ideology is messing up the sport and has a lot of fighters talking more like promoters than fighters. I understand thinking that way and being strategic with your career, but work the mic like a fighter, not a fence straddling, compromising business man.

Why would he need to jump up and down like king Kong for a fight triple G could have easily said he wanted. He was more popular globally I know this because I know many Mexicans who favor triple g over Canelo, and still think he got robbed.

    damian marlee LOL, well, who's there for GGG to fight? Ward was lucky that he was put up against big names when he entered. GGG's been trying to get a big name for a while. Ward was on a contract. He had 7 opponents I believe that were already chosen. GGG has 475 fights in his amateur career. He's never been knocked out and never been knocked down. He has won gold and silver medals. I wouldn't call that resume a pile of hot shit.

Then you take a fight with Alexander Brand on the Cotto vs Canelo PPV? REALLY ALEXANDER BRAND? Then you pull out of the fight due to injury. You signed a 3 fight contract with HBO and you MIGHT fight Kovleav in the 3rd and last fight... IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU ARE THE ONE BEING BUILT UP! Stop calling out middleweights and then running off to light heavyweight!
