Holy cow, what an unique knife. Congrats on getting that one, Fredrik. Makes me wonder if it's a one of a kind even. I was thinking it looks like something from a movie that an alien would whip out. Then you mentioned it looking "alien"...LOL. I don't think you mentioned how the pommel resembles a lizard head, with the lanyard hole the eyes. Thanks for the nice, detailed look at that special, functional piece of art, as you said!

Unique is a great way to describe this knife! I wonder if I used that word in the video, though? I'm super stoked to have this one in the collection. I do believe it is a one-off, but I'm not 100% sure. You'r right about the pommel! I guess, the more you look at this one, the more you'll discover! There's a lot going on here, heh! But I love it. I love every aspect of this folder. A grail piece, for sure! Thank you for watching and commenting, Rick! :)

very beautiful piece ... can you upgrade the video camera so that we can see the natural beauty of your knives ... color cast are quite bad ...

Thank you! I'm afraid I can't upgrade the camera. I'm using a Sony RX100 Mk.VII which is the best camera available on the market right now.

One part of me saying too cheesy. But the other saying ooohh nice one. I am torn

This is a beautiful knife, but I am wondering about another AdV design, the Alien, which is along the same alien organic lines as this knife. Why I wonder is there not a single video on it on KZread? It's a spectacular integral knife similar to a Rike Knife Alien 4 but, in MHO, quite a bit better. Was it an extremely limited edition (it was reasonably priced not TOO long ago at $625)? If anyone knows anything about the AdV Alien, beyond the selling pages that are still up, please let me know.

I have an alien in similar ano to this one, I should maybe take a video of it, its a sweet little blade.
