Thank YOU SO MUCH FOR SINGING THIS SONG WHEN YOU DID!! My little brother was dying of cancer he found it hard for me to dress him and see his body daily as he was doing home hospice. He tensed up every morning me and my mom cleaned and dressed him. I was sick also with migraines almost daily from being upset he was dying and had 5 kids . I played this song every morning we dressed him. It made all the difference to all three of us . He relaxed and fell in love with the song. His last words were don't forget our song. You didn't have the narration at the start like you do now ,but I felt all of that the day God gave me this song. It was the day the cancer doctor told my brother we can't help you anymore you shouldn't even be here so you must go to hospice today until you pass! My brother said I'm going home and my sister will help me. I didn't have to say anything because he knew there was no other place i'd be. When we got in the car this song was playing and tears rolled down my face because i knew God had me like I had my brother. for that I'm forever grateful!!!!!!! .

When my father left us and went with another woman. My mother had to struggle to work to take care of us seven children. My mother could not read or write since she grown-up being poor among the poor but she push as all her children to go to school to learn to read and learn to write...she's now 83 years old and suffered a severe stroke in 2006. As the eldest son I had to take care of her since then and never gave up to " Rise up"..in returned to all her hardship, love and dedication. I have to take care of her until her last breath...she is the only mom that I will cherish for the rest of my life and grateful that God gave her to us as our mother! 😔😊❤

My daughter and I were in a bad car accident in July 2016. My daughter, who was 8 weeks at the time, suffered no injuries (thank God!) and I broke my neck which left me paralyzed from my neck down. I’m unable to move my hands or legs and have to use a power wheelchair to get around. There are many days when I feel i I don’t want to go on and want to give up. This song definitely helps me get through many of those days and helps me to keep pushing.

My husband recently passed away 1 year after being diagnosed with ALS/ Lou Gehrig's Disease. It is a brutal disease. This song gave me strength then and it continues to now that he is gone. Am a home attendent and after a long day if seeing my client at the end of the road I go home crying and on my knees asking God to help us all because my body is tired and so much is on my shoulder, I listen to this song and it just give me the faith to fight for my clients and to know am doing the best I can.

This Song is so beautiful. Powerful and deep. The meaningful music the WORLD needs! And her voice is perfect!

I feel so much of this song in so many ways. Chronic migraine disease, anxiety, (depression because of anxiety and ptsd), ptsd all bundled up into my brain. Plus all the to many deaths I have experienced of family and friends. I have learned not to take advantage of life and I live each day one day at a time. This song speaks volumes to me and brings me to my knees.

THIS SONG TO ME: Is God and me having a conversation. He sees the constant battle with my anger, my pain, my depression, and my frustration and he tells me that he sees something so important and special in me and whatever I do keep trying because the pain I have now is no compare to the joy that is coming 😊. He tells me that together we will rise up from the negativity in my life and conquer for something so much more and greater than I can imagine. So Yes I will "Rise Up" a thousand times.

I wish my arms were big enough to hug every single hurt and lost soul, to let them know that it will be alright, that nothing's permanent and if you just open your eyes you'd see love is all around, even if you think it abandoned you long ago~

I lost my job of 11 years and my integrity and honesty was personally attacked when I am the most honest and reliable employee they would find. It was a huge blow and took a lot to get through it. While repairing myself and pulling through I began sorting through totes from items accumulated from my kids growing up (schoolwork, art projects, etc. ). I had my music player going in the background. While this song was playing I came across a book my son made about "my mom" in 1st grade. I was a single parent and many times I feel I failed them and did not do good enough. They are all grown now. This book from the eyes of a babe, complete innocence and awe and wonder with how he viewed me, how he valued me as a person and as a mother...the timing between this song and that book was destiny. It brought me to my knees. It opened my eyes to what is important, how much I am valued by the people who count! That moment is now carved into my soul. Thank you for that!

If heaven is a voice, it lives in this treasure.

This song is incredible and she has an amazing voice. It makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I could hear this a million times and never get bored of it.

I listen to this song at least twice a week and it inspires me to get up d despite the pains, despite me being in a wheelchair. I get up and I keep moving. Thank you for this song it’s been and continues to be a blessing.

As a Christian, this feels like a great song in your season of waiting. And for you, it feels like God isn't doing much but He's telling you He will rise up in spite of your faith dwindling. So just hold, God is fully working behind the scenes and don't ever stop praying.He's about to blow your mind, your family's mind and shock your haters. Love this song.

Do some shadow work... It helps a lot. Meditate on any trauma-and go to that place and let the current you-be there for the versiom of you that was traumatized. Its deep-its hard-but its so healing. Imagine yourself being there for you when you needed someone the most & had no one-hug your past self-kiss your head-wipe your tears and reassure your child self. Bless your journey. #riseup

I am a paraprofessional at Stephen F. Austin High School in Sugarland TX. I am dedicating this song to all my co-workers and students during this crisis 😂. I think of my 7 year old son who was diagnosed with Bone cancer September 2020 during lockdown. Lord it’s hard but you give me strength to carry on. I keep praying and hoping for a miracle

I am a kindergarten Teacher nearing the end of 2019-20 school year. The circumstance we are living took time hostage and time stood still, with my daily calendar still reading March. Now in May, students/parents/teachers would have been getting ready for summer. Thank you Andra for this amazing song, it is keeping me strong when I think of my beautiful students and what they accomplished through the year until March , until the Coronavirus invaded our world. My brother suffers from schizophrenia. It has been such a tough battle for my family & I. Some days i feel as though the world is caving in. Some days I am scared he will not be with us anymore. Some days I feel like giving up. But music has helped tremendously & this song particular. I will always stay strong, and be his backbone. And I'd do it a thousand times again. To anyone struggling with anything, your faith your perseverance can move mountains. It doesn't rain forever. You are not alone!

@@juliedrake2499 😢 That must make it 100 times worse. It happened to my mum, I was 4 when I lost my baby brother at birth. My mum kept on at Doctors that something didn't feel right but it was too late, always too late. Keep Strong, they all up there somewhere looking down on us ❤️❤️❤️

I’ve lost so many close to me recently and with the illness killing so many this song is perfect. With the grace of God we will all rise up.
