Andrés Segovia Torres, (21 de febrero de 1893 - 3 de junio de 1987) fue un guitarrista clásico español, considerado como el padre del movimiento moderno de la guitarra clásica. En este disco se muestran algunas de sus magistrales interpretaciones de piezas de genios como Isaac Albéniz, Felix Mendelssohn o Manuel Ponce. Sin duda un disco especial para reencontrarse con el instrumento clásico español. La Guitarra.

Anyone know where I can find the scores of all these variations?
This 'Vintage' compilation is a mixture of early 78 r.p.m. recordings (e.g. Recuerdos de la Alhambra) and later material - this sounding like the 'bootleg' of a Swiss-Italian TV live recording. There is a technical slip at 0.18 - a glissando from below the correct note.
Wrong performance of frescobalda,just at the beginning of that piece,by Andres Segovia.Amazing ,why he did not correct that mistake.
