Andrés Segovia - Serenata (Joaquín Malalts).

Unvergleichlicher Klang und Melodienfluss, rhythmischer Charme und Souveränität. „Old Segovia“ shows all the Guitarists how it is to play classic guitar. It was one of my most favorite piece in my childhood, when I heard it from him.
The sound Segovia made , will echo in the ears of guitarists forever ! xxxxxxx

I like pepe Romero interpretation.
To much rubato, I like Pepe and Bream interpretation better!.Segovia is my favorite guitarist but not on this piece.

Maybe it's because I grew up listening to this (it was one of my only CDs for many years), but I can hear it no other way! Yes, tons of robato, but isn't that the Segovia way?

Like, the little hitches after 1:36, first when he goes up to to the A, then up to the C#. Reality (time) is suspended for just a fraction of a second to enjoy the music. It's perfect! I would prefer he glissando a bit more, but he was fairly straight-laced.

Pepe makes a few hiccups in his performance, it’s almost as if he’s struggling. Doesn’t even compare to this flawless performance

I think you have not understand the old doing of interpretation. The newer one is only doing what you see in the notes, not in your heart, but Segovia saw it!
