aww hh, it must be difficult to motivate a child to play sometimes. I hope she finds something she likes when she plays, and wants to play more and more! I personally started playing much more when I joined a violin music group. We all played the violin together and I enjoyed it so much I was playing a lot every day

I just found your channel today and have been watching a lot of your videos. You play really well and I hope to play as well as you. Right now I am planning on learning how to play but I am still not allowed to go out of the house. I've been wanting to play since I was in high school... now I just graduated college and I still don't have one. I hope I get a violin and learn a lot in quarantine.

Merci pour la review ! J'aime beaucoup ce format casual, ça permet de te voir plus souvent ! Et les petits morceaux courts en mode random sont super jolis :) Je ne fais pas de violon, mais ça m'intéresserait de voir une vidéo tuto qui expliquerait que faire quand on reçoit son violon la première fois (là tu as installé le chevalet et mis de la colophane, mais comment savoir si on en a mis assez ou trop peu ? il faut en mettre à chaque fois qu'on joue ? ) C'est intéressant aussi de savoir comment l'accorder, (quelles sont les notes des cordes, on utilise un accordeur ou on fait à l'oreille avec un piano à côté etc), comment l'entretenir ( que faire quotidiennement, mensuellement, annuellement ? on va chez qui ? j'ai vu près de chez moi un "archetier", est-ce que c'est pareil qu'un luthier ?), comment entretenir son archet (d'ailleurs on utilise toujours le même archet ou on peut varier pour les effets ?), quel budget prévoir pour son entretien. Bref le BA-BA pour tout débutant ou curieux comme moi ^^ Voilà pour ma petite suggestion de vidéo :)

Rumi, I'm so sorry for my late reply and seeing your message only now. The piece at 3:50 is the Bruch Concerto for Violin (First movement). A very nice piece for violin! I played the 1 st movement once on stage. It was scary as it was the first time to play a difficult piece for me on stage T_T

Good luck !! First month yay :D Fix yourself a budget, go to a violin maker if there is one around your place, and if you can with your teacher so you can listen to the violin he plays and select the one you prefer. :D

I take "suggestions" rather than request! So I note all songs suggestion in a list, and when there is a lot of suggestion, I generally cover the song!
